Having to rely on his grandmother's pension to get by, Osamu is often forced to resort to shoplifting in order to provide food for his family. While out trying to steal groceries with his son, Osamu comes across a homeless young girl on the street. Tatsuya Nakadai stars as Hanshiro Tsugumo, an ageing and disenfranchised samurai warrior who enters the house of a feudal lord asking to commit the act of hara-kiri on his land according to the ancient samurai code. On arrival, Hanshiro begins to tell his tragic life story, culminating in Hanshiro's violent revenge upon those whose hypocrisy and authoritarianism robbed him and his family of life, love and happiness.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Koji Yakusho stars as respected samurai warrior Shinzaemon Shimada, who gathers together 13 skilled assassins to bring down the evil Lord Naritsugu (Goro Inagaki), a merciless killer who gets his kicks from brutally murdering women and children. The film ends with a 45-minute battle sequence in which the 13 assassins take on an army of 200 men, dispensing with them in a profusion of inventive and surprising ways.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Set in the year 2599, a group of misfits are sent to Mars where, 500 years previously, scientists began a colonisation project that saw them plant moss to increase the ground's temperature and release cockroaches to spread the moss. When the mission lands on the planet to check the progress of the terraforming, they are greeted by human-sized cockroaches that are the result of accelerated evolution. The team must work together if they are to stay alive and defeat the man-eating insects.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>
