In this episode the loyalty of the Cimarron townspeople towards their Marshal is put to the test. Dickie Vardeman (Bud George) has been arrested for murder, but his notorious criminal family are thought to be planning a rescue. Marshal Crown decides to send Dickie for trial in another town, but while trying to move him clashes with the Vardeman family. During the altercation Crown shoots and kills Dickie's brother and gets shot himself. The people of Cimarron initially rush to search for their missing Marshal but when a reward is put out on his head by Dickie's father, nobody is sure what Crown's fate will be.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In this episode Deputy MacGregor (Percy Herbert) is in charge while Marshal Crown is out of town, but things don't run smoothly. After a prisoner, Luther Happ (Harry Dean Stanton), escapes from Cimarron jail, MacGregor pursues him and kills him, but ends up getting shot too. MacGregor is then arrested for the prisoner's murder as it comes to light that Happ was also a Deputy. Under the authority of dishonest Sheriff Hawkes (Clifton James), MacGregor is sentenced to be hanged, that is until he escapes from jail along with his cellmate who is chained to him. When Marshal Crown gets word of what has happened, he returns to try and find MacGregor before Sheriff Hawkes does.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

He plays the young leader of a pioneer wagon train travelling across the Oregon Trail. Repulsing Indian attacks and battling against the hostile elements, The Duke still finds time for romance with a fellow traveller (Marguerite Churchill). In 'The Comancheros (1961), Wayne stars as Texas Ranger Jake Cutter whose path crosses with that of professional gambler Paul Regret (Stuart Whitman). The two become uneasy bedfellows in their quest to crush a powerful outlaw gang who are selling arms and alcohol to the local Indians. This was director Michael Curtiz's last film and also stars Lee Marvin and Ina Balin. 'North to Alaska' (1960) is a lighthearted Western starring Wayne and Stewart Granger as rough and tumble gold prospectors in Alaska. When Sam McCord (Wayne) and George Pratt (Granger) eventually strike it rich in the gold rush, George sends Sam to Seattle to fetch his fiancée; but Sam falls in love with her. George eventually accepts his loss and sets about finding a new gal, but only seems to find trouble. In 'The Undefeated' (1969), Confederate Colonel James Langdon (Rock Hudson) prepares to travel to Mexico with his family. When they are attacked by bandits, Union Colonel J.H. Thomas (Wayne) comes to their aid. The former enemies find themselves united in their efforts to resist Mexican Emperor Maximillian, and Juarez, the rebel leader. When the rebels kidnap the Southerners, Colonel Thomas must decide whether to surrender his valuable herd of 3,000 horses and secure their release, or leave them to their fate.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Beginning with the Sioux victory over General Custer at Little Big Horn, this Western intertwines the unique perspectives of three characters: Charles Eastman (Adam Beach), a young, Dartmouth-educated, Sioux doctor held up as living proof of the alleged success of assimilation; Sitting Bull (August Schellenberg), the proud Lakota chief who refuses to submit to U.S. government policies designed to strip his people of their identity, their dignity and their sacred land - the gold-laden Black Hills of the Dakotas; and Senator Henry Dawes (Aidan Quinn), one of the architects of the government policy on Indian affairs. While Eastman and patrician schoolteacher Elaine Goodale (Anna Paquin) work to improve life for the Sioux on the reservation, Senator Dawes lobbies President Grant (Fred Dalton Thompson) for more humane treatment, opposing the bellicose stance of General William Tecumseh Sherman (Colm Feore).
