Socialarbetaren Nina (Jennifer Aniston) blir förälskad i sin kompis George (Paul Rudd) som arbetar som lärare. I desperation flyttar George in hos Nina, och saker och ting blir intressanta när deras förhållande utvecklas till något mycket speciellt.
