Vad kan man säga om legendarerna i Deep Purple som inte sagts tusen gånger tidigare? Nu kommer ett helt nytt studioalbum "SPLAT!" och återigen har bandet slagit sig ihop med superproducenten Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper). Tillsammans har de skapat ett album som bygger på det sound och den attityd som alltid har skiljt Deep Purple från resten.<br/><br/>"SPLAT!" är det tyngsta Deep Purple-albumet på många år och spelades in med alla medlemmar på plats samtidigt i studion, på samma sätt som Deep Purple alltid har spelat in. Ian Gillan beskriver musiken på det nya albumet som "kompatibelt med 'Highway Star', 'Smoke on the Water' och 'Lazy'". <br/><br/>Det finns inte nog med superlativ för att beskriva betydelsen som Deep Purple har haft för rockmusiken.
