Vissa band skapar ett sound som är så eget att de får en hel genre uppkallad efter sig. Gamma Ray och Helloween är ett sådana band. Power metal hade aldrig låtit som den gör utan Kai Hansen som var med och grundade Helloween och ett par år senare bildade Gamma Ray. Idag är cirkeln sluten och Hansen är tillbaka i Helloween, men han håller också fortfarande liv i Gamma Ray.<br/><br/>Här kommer en livekonsert som spelades in 2020, för att fira bandets 30 år. På grund av pandemin framfördes denna konsert utan fysisk publik, dock är fansen med digitalt via en livestream. NMB are releasing their much-anticipated fourth album, "Innocence & Danger". The band comprise Neal Morse, Mike Portnoy, Randy George, Bill Hubauer & Eric Gillette. <br/>With NMB's previous two releases being concept albums, it's perhaps remarkable that "Innocence & Danger" is a series of unrelated songs, but drummer Mike Portnoy says "After two sprawling back to back double concept albums in a row, it was refreshing to get back to writing a collection of unrelated individual songs in the vein of our first album." Six years on from "The Grand Experiment", Morse is more enthusiastic than ever about the talents and contribution of his fellow band members on "Innocence & Danger": "The band is really so extraordinary - and is such an amazing team: Mike's drums are huge, Randy's bass playing is an ever-solid foundation and Eric's vocals are becoming crazy good now: often I'll sing the verse, Eric sings the chorus, Bill sings the bridge and Eric will bring it home. LACUNA COIL's new live album, Live from the Apocalypse, is the fruit of an unprecedented time. Unlike previous live efforts-Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul) (2008), Shallow Live: Acoustic at Criminal Records (2010), and The 119 Show - Live in London (2018)-the Italians, under the yoke of the pandemic, cleverly devised a way for their devoted fanbase to hear and see them on stage by organizing a special live stream event performing their latest album, Black Anima, in September 2020. By all accounts, this was no ordinary gig. Even though LACUNA COIL were in their hometown of Milan-at the famed Alcatraz Club-there were no fans to greet them. No roar of anticipation; No claps of adulation; No interaction with the people who had become deeply involved in and had a profound love for LACUNA COIL's music and live shows over two-plus decades.
