The Mirage Lady can drain her enemies' power by seducing them, and has married the squire's dim-witted son. Tsui (Jet Li) has been brainwashed into feeling no physical pain, and is forced into joining China's crack assassin team, the 701 Squad. However, he cannot live with his conscience, and so escapes to the streets of Hong Kong.
