Third instalment of the Japanese action film series directed by Kinji Fukasaku. Following an assassination, trouble breaks out at the funeral of a leading member of the Muraoka crime family. When the brother of the deceased refuses to exact revenge, renowned yakuza Shozo Hirono (Bunta Sugawara) suspects a conspiracy. Meanwhile, when rival gang the Shinwa Group begin to increase their influence in Hiroshima, a power struggle ensues which threatens to erupt into violence all over western Japan.
