Lino Capolicchio stars in this Italian giallo horror co-written and directed by Pupi Avati. Stefano (Capolicchio) travels to a remote town where he has been employed to restore a fresco depicting the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian. When he hears rumours that the artist who painted the fresco took inspiration from real life and tortured and killed people in the name of his art, he begins investigating. However, as he attempts to discover the truth, people begin to die, because there are those who do not want the town's dark secrets to come to light...
