Riccardo Freda directs this 1960s American horror set in 1885 London. Dr Hichcock (Robert Flemyng) has been carrying out his sordid necrophiliac practices on his wife, Margaretha (Maria Teresa Vianello) when one day he accidentally causes her to die from an overdose.
