Robin Bexter directs this documentary which chronicles the making and enduring legacy of 'The Exorcist' (1973). Bextor examines the real life case of a boy from Maryland in 1949 which inspired William Peter Blatty, who wrote the novel on which the film is based, and considers the directorial decisions made by William Friedkin.
