Set in Los Angeles, the show follows Ray Donovan (Schreiber), a professional 'fixer' working for the successful law firm Goldman and Drexler, whose clients include the wealthiest of Hollywood's elite. In this season, Ray begins anger management following a fight in a bar, a movie star enlists Ray to defend her from her abusive husband and Mickey (Jon Voight) may be on the verge of returning to a life of violence.
