This documentary uses period footage to profile the daring capture of German U-boats during World War Two by the Royal Navy's warships, resulting in the seizure of the Nazis' Enigma machines and secret code books. Britain was now able to decode the hitherto unbreakable messages sent to the German 'Wulf Packs' which had harried the Atlantic convoys, turning the hunter into the hunted and helping to change the course of the war.
