In 'Bodyguard Kiba' (1973) karate master Naoto Kiba (Chiba) uses his skills to thwart a terrorist attack onboard an aeroplane. He then starts a bodyguard service and is quickly hired by Reiko (Mari Atsumi) who wants protection from the local yakuza, but Kiba soon realises that she has not been entirely honest with him. In 'Bodyguard Kiba: Deadly Triangle Jump' (1973) Kiba is imprisoned after seeking revenge on the man who blinded his sister Maki (Etsuko Shihomi). When he is released he begins working as a bodyguard at a nightclub frequented by the yakuza and uncovers a plot involving murder, theft and a man intent on revenge.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>

Knowing that bandits are planning to attack their village after the coming harvest, its inhabitants hire a group of seven samurai to protect them. Led by Kambei (Takashi Shimura), the group includes four hardened warriors, Kambei's new disciple and Kikuchiyo (Toshirô Mifune), the orphaned son of a farmer who is posing as a samurai and is determined to prove his worth. The samurai begin arming and training the villagers as well as fortifying their homes as they prepare for the coming attack, fully aware that the odds are stacked against them. Domineering Dr Niide (Mifune), known as 'Red Beard', is responsible for training new doctors, among them the lazy and socially ambitious Yasumoto (Yuzo Kayama).
