In 'Mangrove', based on real events, Frank Crichlow (Shaun Parkes)'s Caribbean restaurant in Notting Hill becomes a vibrant place for the immigrant community to meet, however, with the Metropolitan Police constantly raiding the premises a large number of the local population protest against this discrimination by marching to the local police station. Charged with inciting riots, nine people stand trial where their case becomes a landmark in British history, acknowledging the existence of racism within the police force. In 'Lovers Rock' the course of a single night is documented as Martha (Amarah-Jae St. Aubyn) attends a house party with best friend Patty (Shaniqua Okwok) and falls for Franklyn (Micheal Ward). In 'Red, White and Blue' John Boyega stars as Leroy Logan who gave up his career in laboratory science in order to join the police force as a result of witnessing his father (Steve Toussaint) being assaulted by racist officers. However, tensions arise when young Leroy shares his career change with his friends and family, and despite his capability in the role Leroy still finds himself subjected to prejudice by his colleagues. In 'Alex Wheatle' Sheyi Cole stars as author Alex Wheatle in his formative years as he finds a sense of community and belonging in Brixton having been brought up in institutional care. Finally, in 'Education' young boy Kingsley (Kenyah Sandy) finds himself removed from class despite his aptitude for learning. With his parents too busy working separate jobs to pick up on the educational neglect of their son, three women attempt to address the school's segregation policy on Kingsley's behalf.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Browning used a collection of handicapped actors and performers for the circus community, which initially welcomes the beautiful trapeze artist Cleopatra into their group when she marries midget circus owner, Hans. However, as it becomes clear that Cleopatra is only after Hans' money, and is conducting an affair with the strongman, the close-knit clan of 'freaks' plan a revenge.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When her younger brother Binx (Christian Slater)'s scooter is stolen and destroyed Billie demands for the repair costs to be covered by those responsible. However, her demands are not met with any sympathy and when Pyatt (Richard Bradford), one of the boy's father, attempts to abduct her Binx manages to help her escape with the aid of a gun. Billie, Binx and two of their friends then go on the run when they are framed for attempted murder. As they evade capture from the authorities legend of their defiance spreads and soon they have a cult following with Billie being heralded as a teen idol.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Director Alex Cox eschews moral judgement in favour of an attempt to show how their attachment to each other was motivated by universal human needs, fashioning a classic romantic love story out of unpromising material. Despite initially having a relationship with Maddie, Rosalie cannot help but fantasise about Jed and when she discovers her infatuation is mutual, the two enter an affair. Captain Ahab (Gregory Peck), skipper of the whaling vessel Pequod, sets sail from New Bedford in 1840, determined to wreak vengeance on Moby Dick, the great white whale that almost took his life. Ahab works his crew up into a frenzy as they cross the oceans in search of their quarry, but his obsession takes a tragic turn when Moby Dick is finally sighted.
