In 'Batman Forever' (1995) former District Attorney Harvey 'Two-Face' Dent (Tommy Lee Jones) is terrorising Gotham City when a new villain appears on the scene - The Riddler (Jim Carrey). Together they plot to take over Gotham and discover Batman (Val Kilmer)'s identity, using a device which can probe the human mind. Meanwhile, the caped crusader is joined in his fight by new sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell), whose trapeze-artist family have recently been slain by Two-Face. Finally, in 'Batman and Robin' (1997) Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (O'Donnell) have to stop the vengeful Mr Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from taking over Gotham City. To make matters worse, the venomous Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) decides to join forces with Freeze. 'Jurassic World' (2015) picks up 22 years after 'Jurassic Park' (1993) as Isla Nublar, located off the Pacific Coast of Central America, is reopened as a dinosaur theme park. In order to boost attendance, operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) asks the park's geneticists to create genetically modified hybrid dinosaurs, the latest product of their experimentation being the Indominus rex. But when the Indominus rex escapes and begins killing other dinosaurs for sport, it's left to park staff member and behavioural researcher Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to clean up the mess. In 'Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom' (2018), with the Jurassic World theme park now lying in ruin, the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar have been left to roam freely round the island. However, with a massive volcanic eruption threatening their existence, former park operations manager Dearing recruits ex-dinosaur trainer Grady and heads back to the island in a bid to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the impending disaster. 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014) is set two years after the events of 'The Avengers' (2012) and sees Rogers working for S.H.I.E.L.D. while he continues to try to adjust to modern society. When he discovers that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated by Hydra, he joins forces with Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and former soldier Sam Wilson to uncover the extent of the corruption and defeat a powerful Hydra assassin called the Winter Soldier (Stan). In 'Captain America: Civil War' (2016), following the events of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' (2015), the United Nations seek to oversee and control the activity of the Avengers, which causes a deep divide within the team of superheroes. The Avengers are split into two opposing factions headed by Captain America (Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), when a new threat to the safety of the world emerges. Will the Avengers be able to defeat their common enemy and repair the schism between them? Finally, in 'Captain America: Brave New World' (2025), Sam Wilson assumes the mantle of Captain America. When an attempt is made to assassinate President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Wilson uncovers evidence of a conspiracy to sow discord and division between America and Japan. In 'Spider-Man 3' (2007), Peter's former friend Harry takes over his father's duties as the Green Goblin and sets his sights on revenge against the crime-fighting Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church), the man who killed Peter's Uncle Ben, has been transformed into the shape-shifting Sandman and becomes another evil for Spider-Man to overcome. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' (2012) sees Andrew Garfield take on the role of the superhero. When Peter Parker was abandoned by his parents as a young boy, he was left to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field). Always wondering about the circumstances that surrounded his parents' departure, Peter goes on a quest to find some answers. In 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' (2014), Spider-Man's work-life balance is holding up extremely well as he spends his days as Peter Parker with his girlfriend Gwen (Emma Stone) and his nights leaping between New York's skyscrapers making the city a safer place.
