Set in Middle-Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of Hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the Dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other Dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo has to make a difficult decision when Thorin puts his desire to find the royal jewel Arkenstone before his loyalty to his friends. Meanwhile, Gandalf discovers that the evil Sauron has returned, commanding a horde of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. The team are sceptical about the possibility of alien life - until they find themselves beamed aboard a UFO. In 'Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost' (1999) the gang is intrigued when horror author Ben Ravencroft (voice of Tim Curry) invites them to his New England hometown's Autumn Harvest festival. The frights begin when Ben reveals that his old home is supposedly haunted by the ghost of his ancestor, white witch Sarah (Tress MacNeille), and Scooby (Scott Innes) and Shaggy (also Innes) are soon reluctantly sniffing around for clues. In 'Scooby-Doo! On Zombie Island' (1998) the gang journey to a haunted island to investigate the ghostly legend of Moonscar the pirate (Jim Cummings), but soon find themselves tussling with cat creatures and zombies - could the ghouls actually turn out to be real for once? Finally, in 'Scooby-Doo! and the Loch Ness Monster' (2004) the gang are on holiday at Blake Castle, Daphne (Grey DeLisle)'s Scottish ancestral home, helping her family host a Highland games event. But when something gigantic - and very, very scary - appears outside the castle window, mystery and mayhem begin as Scooby Doo (Frank Welker) and crew try to solve one of history's longest-running mysteries, the myth of the Loch Ness Monster.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

'Jazz maverick' Howard Moon (Julian Barratt) and self-styled 'King of the Mods' Vince Noir (Noel Fielding), two workers in a run-down zoo, are often called upon to put their jobs before their pride. That means dressing up as animals and sitting in cages because their boss, American entrepreneur Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher), can't afford any real animals. In series 1, the lads have to battle mutant animals engineered in a secret laboratory underneath the zoo, as well as fight a kangaroo to raise money for their dilapidated workplace. A perilous journey to find the fabled Egg of Mantumba leads to a fight with the dreaded Black Frost, and when Howard is accidentally taken off to Monkey Hell, Vince has to journey through time and space to rescue him from the Ape of Death.
