In 'The Holy Grail' (1975), King Arthur and his trusty knights fearlessly (for the most part) travel the length and breadth of the country in search of the mythical Holy Grail. On their way they have to deal with the sarcastic taunts of the French Knight, the Knights who say 'Ni', Tim the Enchanter and the Terror of the Cave of Caerbannog. 'Life of Brian' (1979), set during Biblical times, tells the story of Brian (Graham Chapman), an accidental messiah whose life runs in eerie parallel to that of Jesus Christ. His misadventures come to the attention of Pilate, crucifixion inevitably follows, and the film ends with the infamous group rendition of the song 'Always Look On the Bright Side of Life'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In 'Fisherman's Friends' (2019), while on a stag weekend in Cornwall, London music executive Danny (Daniel Mays) is tasked with signing a group of local fishermen who perform together as part-time sea shanty singers. Despite the uphill challenge of convincing all of the ten men, who want no part of fame or fortune, to sign with him, Danny embeds himself in the community and succeeds, only to find out from his boss that the idea to sign them was just a big joke. Unwilling to go back on his word, Danny attempts to convince another label to offer them a real contract. In 'Fisherman's Friends: One and All' (2022), a year on from the successful release of their debut album, the band is in turmoil as they struggle to cope with the demands of their new-found fame. Faced with being dropped by their record label, the band searches for a new recruit to replace Jim (James Purefoy)'s late father, Jago (David Hayman). In 'A Grand Day Out' (1989) Wallace runs out of his favourite Wensleydale cheese on Boxing Day and cannot find a shop open to replenish his stock. The only solution he can think of is to fly his homemade rocket to the biggest block of cheese in the universe: the moon. In 'The Wrong Trousers' (1993) Wallace and Gromit cross paths with ruthless criminal Feathers McGraw, a penguin who disguises himself as a chicken and has a plan to use Wallace's Techno Trousers to commit robbery. In 'A Close Shave' (1995) Wallace becomes infatuated with Wendolene (Anne Reid) who owns a wool shop. Meanwhile, Gromit becomes interested in the case of some disappearing sheep and identifies Wendolene's dog Preston as the culprit. However, when the devious dog frames Gromit for the crime and he is imprisoned, he needs Wallace and the sheep, led by Shaun, to break him out. Finally, in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' (2008), the pair have converted their home into the 'Top Bun' bakery - complete with a rooftop windmill - but with 12 local bakers having gone mysteriously missing, Gromit worries that they will soon complete the baker's dozen. Wallace, meanwhile, is oblivious to the danger, and with his master otherwise engaged, it's up to Gromit to solve the mystery before Wallace becomes the next victim.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

'Jazz maverick' Howard Moon (Julian Barratt) and self-styled 'King of the Mods' Vince Noir (Noel Fielding), two workers in a run-down zoo, are often called upon to put their jobs before their pride. That means dressing up as animals and sitting in cages because their boss, American entrepreneur Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher), can't afford any real animals. In series 1, the lads have to battle mutant animals engineered in a secret laboratory underneath the zoo, as well as fight a kangaroo to raise money for their dilapidated workplace. A perilous journey to find the fabled Egg of Mantumba leads to a fight with the dreaded Black Frost, and when Howard is accidentally taken off to Monkey Hell, Vince has to journey through time and space to rescue him from the Ape of Death. Episodes comprise: 'Killeroo'; 'Mutants'; 'Bollo'; 'Tundra'; 'Jungle'; 'Charlie'; 'Electro' and 'Hitcher'. In series 2, the inept duo have formed their own band and manage to escape from the zoo, a situation that results in them confronting a deranged demonic granny, and trying to find the legendary Fountain of Youth to revive their flagging fortunes. Episodes comprise: 'The Call of the Yeti'; 'The Priest and the Beast'; 'Nanageddon'; 'Fountain of Youth'; 'Old Gregg and the Funky Merman' and 'The Nightmare of Milky Joe'. In series 3, Howard and Vince are still in Dalston, working in Naboo (Michael Fielding)'s second hand shop, which gives Howard the chance to try and sell his esoteric jazz record and Vince the opportunity to try on some new wigs. When hitmen Ray and Ken (Farrell and Gleeson) are ordered to murder a priest in London and the job goes wrong, they are told by their boss Harry (Fiennes) to lay low for a couple of weeks in Bruges, Belgium. However, Ray finds himself very much outside of his comfort zone and his contrary ways lead him into increasingly dangerous situations with locals, tourists and a film crew. While Ken does his best to manage Ray's behaviour, word reaches Harry that they have not been keeping their heads down as instructed and he decides to travel to Bruges himself to deal with the wayward pair.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

'Jackass: The Movie' (2002) is the first big screen outing for Johnny Knoxville and friends and features a variety of silly and dangerous stunts, including fun and games with golf carts, urine-soaked snow cones and self-inflicted paper cuts. Series regulars Bam Margera, Steve-O, Dave England, Chris Pontius (alias Party Boy) and Jason Acuña (alias Wee Man) all make an appearance. 'Jackass: Number 2' (2006) features more cringe-worthy stunts, more nasty spills, and more stupid pranks. As well as their native US, the crewmembers also take their camera to Australia, India and Moscow in their search for new ways to gross out the audience. 'Jackass 2.5' (2007) is another insane foray into stupidity, featuring all the stuff they couldn't show you on television. The boys take their stunts to all-new heights that will leave you laughing, squirming, and begging for more (or, possibly, less). In 'Jackass 3' (2010), bull riding, a paintball shootout, rocket jet-skiing and bungee jumping while strapped to a (full) toilet are just some of the pranks the boys get up to this time round, as well as 'the worst wake-up in the world', in which Bam Margera wakes up his sleeping friend in the most brutal and disgusting ways he can dream up. 'Jackass 3.5' (2011) includes stunts which couldn't be included in the previous instalment 'Jackass 3'. The latest additional footage features the likes of firework stunts, skateboarding through a series of dangerous obstacles, 'extreme' skiing and Steve-O being painfully introduced to a snapping turtle.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>
