In 'The Holy Grail' (1975), King Arthur and his trusty knights fearlessly (for the most part) travel the length and breadth of the country in search of the mythical Holy Grail. On their way they have to deal with the sarcastic taunts of the French Knight, the Knights who say 'Ni', Tim the Enchanter and the Terror of the Cave of Caerbannog. 'Life of Brian' (1979), set during Biblical times, tells the story of Brian (Graham Chapman), an accidental messiah whose life runs in eerie parallel to that of Jesus Christ. His misadventures come to the attention of Pilate, crucifixion inevitably follows, and the film ends with the infamous group rendition of the song 'Always Look On the Bright Side of Life'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In 'The Demands of the Egg', David looks at the dangers inherent in the natural urge to reproduce. However, along the way they attract the attention of the police which threatens to derail their road trip to Hollywood. Will they make it back on the road to attend the beauty pageant? Ostracized by the rest of the force and pursued by two rival drug gangs, Cusack launches a one man crusade to bring the errant cop to justice. In 'Lone Wolf McQuade' (1983) gruff Texas Ranger JJ McQuade (Norris) reluctantly teams up with new Mexican partner Kayo to track down a convoy of stolen army trucks. In 'Mangrove', based on real events, Frank Crichlow (Shaun Parkes)'s Caribbean restaurant in Notting Hill becomes a vibrant place for the immigrant community to meet, however, with the Metropolitan Police constantly raiding the premises a large number of the local population protest against this discrimination by marching to the local police station. Charged with inciting riots, nine people stand trial where their case becomes a landmark in British history, acknowledging the existence of racism within the police force. In 'Lovers Rock' the course of a single night is documented as Martha (Amarah-Jae St. Aubyn) attends a house party with best friend Patty (Shaniqua Okwok) and falls for Franklyn (Micheal Ward). In 'Red, White and Blue' John Boyega stars as Leroy Logan who gave up his career in laboratory science in order to join the police force as a result of witnessing his father (Steve Toussaint) being assaulted by racist officers. However, tensions arise when young Leroy shares his career change with his friends and family, and despite his capability in the role Leroy still finds himself subjected to prejudice by his colleagues. In 'Alex Wheatle' Sheyi Cole stars as author Alex Wheatle in his formative years as he finds a sense of community and belonging in Brixton having been brought up in institutional care. Finally, in 'Education' young boy Kingsley (Kenyah Sandy) finds himself removed from class despite his aptitude for learning. With his parents too busy working separate jobs to pick up on the educational neglect of their son, three women attempt to address the school's segregation policy on Kingsley's behalf.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Ghost Dog lives his life by the ancient samurai code Hagakure and when his boss Louie (John Tormey) hires him to kill gangster Handsome Frank (Richard Portnow) - at the behest of mafia don Ray Vargo (Henry Silva) - Ghost Dog carries out the job. However, when Vargo discovers that there was a witness to the killing, he orders the reluctant Louie to have Ghost Dog taken out. After Vargo's men ransack his home and slaughter his beloved pigeons, Ghost Dog vows to revenge himself on the crime bosses in true samurai fashion.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Hampered by payola and music industry corruption, Ivanhoe turns to ganja-dealing to try and make ends meet. Events spiral out of his control and he soon finds himself on the run from the police. The celebrated soundtrack is peppered with reggae classics by the likes of Toots and the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, The Melodians and Cliff himself who performs, among others, the title track and the timeless 'Many Rivers to Cross'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Remastered</i>
