In 'The Creature Walks Among Us' (1956) a water-breathing creature is captured and subjected to experiments which lead it to lash out and kill those around it. In 'The Deadly Mantis' (1957) a giant, ancient creature is freed from its icy prison and embarks on a path of destruction. 'The Time Travelers' (1964) follows a team of scientists who devise a portal to the future through which they find a desolate, mutated Earth. In 'The Beast With a Million Eyes' (1955) a grotesque alien creature terrorises a rural family on their isolated farm in the Californian desert.
