Magda Vasaryova stars as Marketa Lazarova, whose misfortune begins when she is kidnapped and abused by three members of one of the clans: Kozlík (Josef Kemr) and his sons Mikolas (Frantisek Velecky) and Adam (Ivan Paluch).
