During his early musical start in Canada as a teenager, through a move to California in the mid-Sixties to today, six solid decades later, there has only been an unending drive to write songs that are written directly from the soul and performed with pure passion. He is someone who looks within and reflects all he sees and feels. With his band The Chrome Hearts, he continues this expressive excursion recorded in Europe, U.K., U.S. and Canada during The Love Earth Tour 2025.<br/><br/>The music on their new live album - as time explodes, one which captures all of the abilities they've found playing together and responding to the songs and each other. <br/><br/>as time explodes explores the history of Young's songs from his entire catalog. It's a journey through time in the modern age. UNPLUGGED originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's canon.

Talkin To The Trees feels like a full-on fresh-blooded leap forward as Young steps into his sixth decade in his creative odyssey filled with fearless twists and turns. The Chrome Hearts feature Spooner Oldham (Organ); Micah Nelson (Guitar and Vocal); Corey McCormick (Bass and Vocal); Anthony LoGerfo (Drums); with Neil Young (Guitar, Harp, Piano, Vibes). All songs are written by Neil Young, co-produced by Lou Adler and Young, and recorded at Shangri La Studios in Malibu.

2003/04 Greendale tour with Crazy Horse will be chronicled on Return to Greendale, a live album coming out on November 6th. <br/><br/>Limited edition box set with two LPs, two CDs and a documentary, Inside Greendale, about the creation of the album.

The 1995 analog recording Mirror Ball was recorded in Seattle with producer Brendan O'Brien and features Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Jeff Ament and Jack Irons as Neil's backing band. Mirror Ball includes "Throw Your Hatred Down" and "I'm the Ocean."
