During his early musical start in Canada as a teenager, through a move to California in the mid-Sixties to today, six solid decades later, there has only been an unending drive to write songs that are written directly from the soul and performed with pure passion. He is someone who looks within and reflects all he sees and feels. With his band The Chrome Hearts, he continues this expressive excursion recorded in Europe, U.K., U.S. and Canada during The Love Earth Tour 2025.<br/><br/>The music on their new live album - as time explodes, one which captures all of the abilities they've found playing together and responding to the songs and each other. <br/><br/>as time explodes explores the history of Young's songs from his entire catalog. It's a journey through time in the modern age. And by freeing themselves from the past, they can perform some of the most exciting songs of a storied history, always showing how the present sounds, redefining the past and presenting it in the here and now.<br/><br/>The songs featured on as time explodes are timeless and powerful, never more so than in a live, concert setting. The Chrome Hearts feature Spooner Oldham (Organ); Micah Nelson (Guitar and Vocal); Corey McCormick (Bass and Vocal); Anthony LoGerfo (Drums); with Neil Young (Guitar, Harp, Piano, Vibes). All songs are written by Neil Young, co-produced by Lou Adler and Young, and recorded at Shangri La Studios in Malibu.

This new collection of Neil Young with Crazy Horses; earliest recordings include several original versions that have not been released before, and along with the 7-inch Mono mix that was released in 1970 that includes a guitar outro not on LP version not on original LP version. <br/><br/>All the songs on EARLY DAZE sound and feel like a new beginning for where rock &amp; roll was going at the end of the 1960s. <br/><br/>The tide was turning on some of the psychedelic experimentation of the San Francisco bands, and moving towards a style of intricate songwriting and bands that were able to take the beginnings of folk-rock and find new ways to let it explode in different settings. <br/><br/>Neil Young with Crazy Horse were leading the charge in this completely expressive style of new music. It opened doors for a wide variety of new styles, and allowed a whole generation of musicians to find a new way forward. In many ways, that achievement.
