Ohio's 156/Silence return with From a Distance, their crushing new full-length and first release for Pure Noise Records. Produced by Josh Schroeder (King 810, Lorna Shore, The Plot In You), the album expands on the breakout success of People Watching with a darker, more cinematic approach that balances punishing heaviness, eerie atmosphere, and emotional depth. Featuring guest appearances from Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada) and Alex Reade (Make Them Suffer), From a Distance pulls influence from horror, prestige television, and retro game soundtracks while moving seamlessly between hard rock, experimental textures, and the band's chaotic mathcore roots. As Knocked Loose chipped away at what would become their third album, they felt the pressure from all sides. Internally, there was the need to challenge themselves as songwriters while retaining the merciless intensity and unflinching honesty that have always been their calling cards. Kentucky hardcore band Knocked Loose will release their debut full-length album Laugh Tracks on Pure Noise Records in September 2016. Named one of Alternative Press's "16 Bands To Watch In 2016," Knocked Loose is on track to takeover underground hardcore this year with one of the most intensely delivered records in recent memory. The band's debut features 11 catastrophic tracks, as witnessed with lead single "Deadringer," that bleed with unfiltered passion and precise rage.
