Philipp Johann Thimm releases his second solo album, The Red Door. The Berlin-based producer, multi- instrumentalist and ABBY band member boasts an impressive list of projects with outstanding colleagues, among whom his collaborations with Sascha Ring, aka Apparat, are undoubtedly some of the most prominent. The ten songs on The Red Door are multifaceted, moving between genres, opening up and breaking through musical spaces. Club tracks meet cello, indie meets pop, electronic production meets organic elements, and intimate snapshots like an old childhood cassette tape are all present.
