On October 28, 2013, blues-rock star Joe Bonamassa will release Tour De Force - Live In London on Provogue Records (a division of Mascot Label Group), an unprecedented live concert event unfolding over four DVDs and four Blu-rays recorded and filmed at each of the four iconic London venues which he has previously played: The Borderline, Shepherd's Bush Empire, Hammersmith Apollo, and the Royal Albert Hall. <br/><br/>The sold-out concerts, which saw over 12.000 fans in attendance, chronicle Bonamassa's atmospheric rise from the intimate club environment of The Borderline, to the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Every individual evening was marked by a particular theme - his early trio years, the blues, rock and roll, and an all encompassing set at the Albert Hall - and every setlist, arrangement and ensemble was designed to fit in with the evening's prescribed theme providing the viewer with four different and unique performances. Each corresponding disc in the set features a different selection from over 60 songs played from his extensive catalogue - some having never been performed live - with a different and unique band configuration to highlight the diverse elements of Bonamassa's style. <br/><br/>About the Borderline show:<br/>This 200-seat club in the heart of London was chosen to stage a revival of Bonamassa's early career power-trio jam nights. Armed with a Fender Stratocaster - Bonamassa along with a single drummer and bassist launched into a setlist marked with extended takes of songs from his first set of albums.<br/><br/>DVD 1 is the full concert and DVD 2 is bonus material.

The duo did a very short exclusive run in prestigious venues, ending the tour with 2 sold out shows in the historic Carre Theater in Amsterdam. This beautiful location was where Beth Hart, known for her raw and powerful blues-rock sound, amazed everyone with a spectacular performance.

Levelling audiences with her incredible power and celebrated burnt-honey vocals for 20 years.

Utgåvan innehåller annorlunda arrangemang med akustisk sättning av en rad av Bonamassas klassiker tillsammans med nya låtar och sådana han aldrig tidigare spelat live.<br/><br/>Konserterna ingick in en speciell akustisk mini-turné i början av förra året då Bonamassa åkte runt med en antal renommerade musiker som den kinesiske erhuspelaren och cellisten Tina Guo, den egyptiske slagverkaren Hossam Ramzy, som bl a spelade på Page & Plants No Quarter, Reese Wynans (piano), Anton Fig (trummor), Eric Brazilian (mandolin, nyckelharpa, saxofon, akustisk gitarr och sång) samt den australiska sångartrion Mahalia Barnes, Juanita Tippins och Gary Pinto.

The newest album from Rhiannon Giddens', You're the One is her third solo studio album and her first of all original songs. This collection of 12 songs written over the course of Giddens' career bursts with life-affirming energy, drawing from the folk music that she knows so deeply, as well as its pop descendants. Produced by Jack Splash (Solange, Alicia Keys, Valerie June), You're the One features some of Giddens' closest musical collaborators from the past decade, including multi-instrumentalists Francesco Turrisi and Dirk Powell, bassist Jason Sypher, and Congolese guitarist Niwel Tsumbu. The album features electric and upright bass, conga, Cajun and Piano accordions, guitars, a Western string section, and Miami horns, among other instruments, capturing the inclusive spirit that channels through all of her work. <br/><br/>"I hope that people just hear American music," Giddens says. "Blues, jazz, Cajun, country, gospel, and rock-it's all there. I like to be where it meets organically. They're fun songs, and I wanted them to have as much of a chance as they could to reach people who might dig them but don't know anything about what I do. If they're introduced to me through this record, they might go listen to other music I've made with a different set of ears."
