Iron Maiden celebrates the 40th anniversary of their multi-million selling sixth album, 'Somewhere in Time', with the release of this limited edition oxblood colour vinyl, featuring the 2015 remastered audio.<br/><br/>Featuring many songs that Iron Maiden has included in their live set in recent years, including 'Wasted Years', 'Caught Somewhere In Time' and the epic 'Alexander The Great', it saw the band reach new heights around the world, setting them up to soon become the biggest metal band on the planet.

On their forthcoming 25th studio album, the British heavy metal legends deliver ten powerful, quintessential Saxon songs spanning a broad range of historically charged themes, from ancient mythology to the brutal realities of royal history.<br/><br/>Produced by legendary founder and frontman Biff Byford and mixed by Andy Sneap, Gods of Thunder captures the band at the height of their powers, combining forceful performances with vivid, meticulously crafted storytelling. <br/><br/>Each track is built around the weight, dynamics and intricate arrangements that have long defined Saxon's music, while the album as a whole maintains a strong sense of focus and efficiency.Take "Medusa", driven by a taut, mesmeric riff and delivered at a relentless pace, while the title track, "Gods of Thunder", is a powerful, anthemic journey into the world of Celtic mythology. <br/><br/>Byford's longstanding passion for history is central to the album, with his distinctive storytelling bringing characters and events from the past vividly to life. <br/><br/>On "The Bloody Tower (The Ballad of Anne Boleyn)", he recounts the politically charged execution of Anne Boleyn, while "Remember the Alamo" charges forward with the fast-paced energy and spirit of early '80s NWOBHM. <br/><br/>The twin-guitar attack of Doug Scarratt and Brian Tatler is particularly prominent on "Temple of Rock", underpinned by the rock-solid rhythm section of Nigel Glocker and Tim 'Nibbs' Carter. <br/><br/>The album closes with "MI5", a timeless headbanger that brings together themes of the Berlin Wall and Cold War espionage.Gods of Thunder is a focused, powerful statement from one of British heavy metal's most enduring bands, with Saxon sounding as vital and uncompromising as ever.

Unbound And Dangerous is a new live collection compiled and sequenced by Robby Krieger, John Densmore & Bruce Botnick.<br/><br/>The Doors' Robby Krieger and John Densmore team with the band's longtime engineer and mixer Bruce Botnick for Unbound And Dangerous, a new double live album that revisits their 1970 Roadhouse Blues tour. <br/><br/>Focused on hard-rocking performances, the collection sets a breathless pace, capturing The Doors at their menacing, bluesy best.

Pulling together myriad audio sources from audience recordings to sound desk tapes to international radio broadcasts, the set features 16 full audio concert recordings across 14 CDs, plus ca. 2 hours 20 mins of live video on a DVD, recorded between March 1979 through May 1980, just two weeks before Ian Curtis' tragic death. <br/><br/>Audio quality across these sources varies widely. Most of the audience recordings sound exactly like what they are - recorded by a fan in the crowd - and multiple concerts have been widely bootlegged. Although under normal circumstances this might make for a sub-optimal commercial offering, in this instance we have every confidence that Joy Division fans will revel in these official bootlegs, and be overjoyed by the higher quality recordings, especially with those that are previously unheard. <br/><br/>Following on from previous New Order Definitive Edition releases, Eternal will be presented in a 12" rigid box, with the 15 discs presented in 4x digipaks, with an additional softback 12" book featuring new liner notes by UK poet laureate and Joy Division fan Simon Armitage, as well as photography by band photographers Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins. <br/><br/>14 CDs - audio from 16 live performances, sourced from audience cassettes, soundboard tapes, and broadcast recordings, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios.<br/>2 DVDs - over 2hrs 30mins of live footage, including the Plan K Brussels concert, two Apollo Theatre Manchester concerts, a soundcheck, and a new edit of Joy Division - A Malcolm Whitehead Film.<br/>1 x 16-page booklet - with personal notes by Simon Armitage and photography by Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins.<br/>12" x 12" lift-off lid box - artwork by Warren Jackson, Peter Saville, Howard Wakefield and Brett Wickens, with cover photography (Sirius Through a Defocused Telescope, 2023) by Wolfgang Tillmans.
