Art is a cyclical beast. The same can easily be said of Grammy Award nominated hard rock juggernaut Mastodon. The group's four members recognize the importance of life's omnipresent cycles on their sixth full-length album, Once More 'Round the Sun. The band orbits around themes of loss and rebirth, twirling a sonic spiral of its signature robust riffing, hypnotically haunting soundscapes, triage of dynamic voices, and thundering seismic grooves.<br/><br/>In order to uphold a modus operandi of experimentation and evolution, the boys enlisted the talents of super producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains, Deftones, etc.) for the very first time. They holed up in his Falcon Rock studio in Nashville throughout the fall of 2013, cutting what would become Once More 'Round the Sun. Given his passion for the band, Raskulinecz immediately clicked with the musicians.<br/><br/>As the fans would wish for, Once More 'Round the Sun, upholds that tradition of progression. They built a band that's been able to morph, evolve, and their fan base expects greatness, but they also expect things to be weird and different. With Once More 'Round the Sun they can feel confident that they've risen to that challenge."

I år är det 30 år sedan Roxette gav ut sitt tredje album "Joyride", som följde upp bandets rekordartade globala genombrott med albumet "Look Sharp!" 1989. <br/><br/>Roxette hade på rekordtid förvandlats till ett globalt hitfenomen tack vare de tre USA-ettorna "The Look", "Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" och andra stora hits som "Dressed For Success" och "Dangerous". <br/><br/>"Joyride" var albumet som skulle cementera de smått osannolika framgångarna för Marie Fredriksson och Per Gessle. Vilket den gjorde med besked. Albumet blev inte bara Roxettes mest sålda, titelspåret svischade den 1 maj 1991 upp till den amerikanska hitlistans förstaplats - och gav därmed Roxette deras fjärde USA-etta. Därmed satte gruppen ett rekord som ingen skandinavisk grupp eller artist har lyckats överträffa.

Warner Music are delighted to announce the release of a commemorative triple black vinyl album in honour of the 40th Anniversary of IRON MAIDEN's seminal third album, The Number Of The Beast, which was also the first to feature Bruce Dickinson on vocals and was to become the record which catapulted the band to international stardom. Included in the new vinyl package is Beast Over Hammersmith - available now officially for the very first time on vinyl - featuring the live concert from March 1982's now legendary Hammersmith Odeon London show from the Beast On The Road World Tour. Recorded only days before the release of The Number Of The Beast album, its remarkable to think these now classic songs at that time were still brand new, unfamiliar and being heard live by fans for the very first time. A real piece of history in the making.<br/><br/>The package features exclusive liner notes written by Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris as well as restored and expanded artwork taken from the CD format of Beast Over Hammersmith, previously only available in the Limited Edition Eddie's Archive boxset originally released in 2002. <br/><br/>Steve Harris comments, <br/>"On this vinyl release we get the chance to put Total Eclipse in its rightful spot on the album for the first time. The reason it didn't make it in the first place was that it was all a mad rush when we were finishing the record and we had to get the Run to the Hills single out before the tour and we basically had to pick a B-side and it was between Gangland and Total Eclipse and we just picked the wrong one, really! I think Total Eclipse is a stronger song and the album would have been stronger if it had been on there."

Sällskapsjuk är inspelat i Halmstad och som titeln signalerar, består albumet till största delen av duetter med en rad starkt lysande sångare.
