Svein and Torbjørn introduce the True Electric album project with What Else Is There? (ft. Fever Ray) [True Electric], a pulsating, intense new version of the classic Röyksopp track from their 2005 album, The Understanding. A high-energy visualiser edit for the single, directed by regular Röyksopp collaborator Stian Andersen, was recorded on location at the band's 2023<br/>True Electric show in Athens featuring the live show in full kinetic flow.<br/><br/>True Electric gathers together 19 studio versions of the music from Röyksopp's True Electric tour in 2023, featuring previously unreleased track The "R" as well as newly-reworked versions of originals and remixes taken from their acclaimed catalogue. These include the celebrated Robyn collaboration Do It Again featuring Robyn (from the 2014 Röyksopp & Robyn EP Do It Again )<br/>and Running To The Sea featuring Susanne Sundfør (from the 2014 Röyksopp album The Inevitable End) as well as several tracks from their critically acclaimed Profound Mysteries creative universe that resulted in three albums released across 2022.<br/><br/>Speaking on the album, Svein and Torbjørn explain:<br/><br/>"True Electric" consists of recordings and renditions, meant to capture the essence of our live shows bearing the same name. The idea was to put an emphasis on the clubbier aspects of our music, as well as returning to our roots within the realms of electronic music."

To celebrate the 40th anniversary for The Sisters Of Mercy's debut album 'First And Last And Always', a 4LP black and red marble coloured vinyl set is released. <br/><br/>It includes the original album alongside the three EP's that preceded its release - 'Body & Soul', 'Walk Away' and 'No Time To Cry'. Each EP features non-album bonus tracks.<br/><br/>Formed in Leeds by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, they released 'First And Last And Always' in March 1985 and is the culmination of five years of independent releases that saw them build up a large cult following.<br/><br/>Their first release with Warner (who they signed to in 1984) it reached number 14 the UK Album Charts by which time the band featured Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass - both of whom would later leave the band to form The Mission.

The final installment in the hugely successful ERA boxes, the sixth boxset includes Bowie's final recordings covering the period from 2002 - 2016. ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR!, containing 29 unreleased tracks, covers early songwriting demos, recordings from David's band, The Arnold Corns, rehearsals at Bowie's then-home, Haddon Hall, BBC sessions, singles, live performances, plus outtakes and alternative versions from the original album recording sessions, which have been newly mixed by original album producer, Ken Scott. <br/> <br/>Unreleased highlights include an alternative version of 'Lady Stardust', an unheard version of the deep-cut classic 'Shadow Man' and an up-tempo take of The Who's 'I Can't Explain', which he would later slow down and cover for the PIN-UPS album.<br/> <br/>The audio-only Blu-Ray disc features the definitive 2012 remaster of the original Ziggy Stardust album in 96kHz/24bit PCM stereo, plus the album and additional mixes from 2003 in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 as well as the singles, outtakes and alternative versions in 96kHz/24 bit PCM stereo.<br/> <br/>The Blu-Ray also includes a version of the ZIGGY STARDUST album called WAITING IN THE SKY (BEFORE THE STARMAN CAME TO EARTH) taken from Trident Studio tapes dated 15th December 1971, which features an alternative running order and four songs that didn't make the final album.<br/><br/>ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR! also contains two books. The first is an extensive 112-page book with detailed liner notes, memorabilia, contemporary reviews and articles, rare photographs from Barrie Wentzel, Michael Putland, Mick Rock, Sukita and Alec Byrne, as well as brand-new notes and interviews with Ken Scott, Mark Carr Pritchett and David's plugger from the time, Anya Wilson. Accompanying the main book is a 36-page compiled reproduction of David's personal Ziggy Stardust era notebooks. <br/> <br/>The first track taken from ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR! is 'ZIGGY STARDUST' (DEMO)' recorded by Bowie on vocal and acoustic guitar in March 1971 at Haddon Hall in Beckenham.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers famously played 20 nights at the legendary Fillmore venue in San Francisco in 1997. 6 of the shows were professionally recorded and this release features many of the high points of the residency. The small venue allowed the band to vary their sets each night; they included re-arranged and distinctive versions of their hits, deep cuts, and many cover versions-paying tribute to the artists that Tom and the band had been influenced by. The 6 LP deluxe edition includes 58 tracks, 35 of which are covers-over 4 hours of music. The 6 LPs are packaged in a box with a 24 page (12" x 12") booklet (with previously unseen photographs), 3 custom guitar picks, a replica All Access laminate, facsimiles of 3 set lists, a reprint of the 8-page Fan Newsletter published in 1997, and an embroidered patch ("The Fillmore House Band" -a term that was bestowed on The Heartbreakers during the shows at the Fillmore).

Last year, Clapton hosted and curated the seventh installment of his Crossroads Guitar Festival on September 23 and 24 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. It notably marked the event's return after a four-year break, selling out the iconic arena on both days. Once again, Clapton carefully assembled a powerhouse cohort of influential guitarists representing various eras and styles. The impressive lineup boasted Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Eric Gales, H.E.R., Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Los Lobos, John Mayer, The Marcus King Band, Roger McGuinn, John McLaughlin, Santana, The Wallflowers, and many more. Not to forget, Bill Murray served as the evening's "Master of Ceremonies." <br/> <br/>Coming together, the set rotated between blues staples, American Songbook classics, and generational rock 'n' roll anthems shocked to life by this elite six-string consortium.
