Pulling together myriad audio sources from audience recordings to sound desk tapes to international radio broadcasts, the set features 16 full audio concert recordings across 14 CDs, plus ca. 2 hours 20 mins of live video on a DVD, recorded between March 1979 through May 1980, just two weeks before Ian Curtis' tragic death. <br/><br/>Audio quality across these sources varies widely. Most of the audience recordings sound exactly like what they are - recorded by a fan in the crowd - and multiple concerts have been widely bootlegged. Although under normal circumstances this might make for a sub-optimal commercial offering, in this instance we have every confidence that Joy Division fans will revel in these official bootlegs, and be overjoyed by the higher quality recordings, especially with those that are previously unheard. <br/><br/>Following on from previous New Order Definitive Edition releases, Eternal will be presented in a 12" rigid box, with the 15 discs presented in 4x digipaks, with an additional softback 12" book featuring new liner notes by UK poet laureate and Joy Division fan Simon Armitage, as well as photography by band photographers Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins. <br/><br/>14 CDs - audio from 16 live performances, sourced from audience cassettes, soundboard tapes, and broadcast recordings, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios.<br/>2 DVDs - over 2hrs 30mins of live footage, including the Plan K Brussels concert, two Apollo Theatre Manchester concerts, a soundcheck, and a new edit of Joy Division - A Malcolm Whitehead Film.<br/>1 x 16-page booklet - with personal notes by Simon Armitage and photography by Anton Corbijn and Kevin Cummins.<br/>12" x 12" lift-off lid box - artwork by Warren Jackson, Peter Saville, Howard Wakefield and Brett Wickens, with cover photography (Sirius Through a Defocused Telescope, 2023) by Wolfgang Tillmans.

Neil Young continues his Official Release Series (ORS) with the next installment of four classic titles from the 1990s. ORS Vol 6: Discs 26, 27, 28 & 29 collects HARVEST MOON, UNPLUGGED, SLEEPS WITH ANGELS and MIRROR BALL in the ongoing reissue series. <br/><br/>Each disc in the limited edition, numbered box sets will contain 4 albums with the original, historically accurate artwork and will be reissued on double vinyl LPs, while the CD box contains single CD sets per title. MIRROR BALL is an analog recording and the album has been remastered from the original analog masters by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Additionally, four of the tracks have been remixed by John Hanlon and Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. ("I'm The Ocean", "Big Green Country", "Truth Be Known", "Throw Your Hatred Down"<br/> <br/>HARVEST MOON (ORS Disc 26), originally released in 1992, helped open a new decade of Young's music with what would become instant new classics like the title track "Harvest Moon," "From Hank to Hendrix," and "One of These Days." It included originals written in the 1980s as well as brand new songs, which quickly became fan favorites and one of the most beloved albums in Young's recorded output. <br/> <br/>UNPLUGGED (ORS Disc 27), originally released in 1993, was first recorded for an MTV Unplugged concert, along with additional live recordings. Young thoughtfully assembled a group of musicians he had recorded with over the years for this special aggregation that quickly became a collector's item as tapes were first shared from the show among his fans. The official live album is considered an acoustic one-of-a-kind release from Young's 90's cannon. <br/> <br/>SLEEPS WITH ANGELS (ORS Disc 28), originally released in 1994, is an album that wrote its own legend when released. Including the 14-minute song "Change Your Mind" and "Unknown Legend," it had a distinctiveness with Crazy Horse that Young achieved by keeping the sessions as spontaneous and immediate as possible allowing the tracks to breathe and come to life in real time. SLEEPS WITH ANGELS was the last album to be produced by Neil's long-time collaborator David Briggs, who passed away in 1995 at age 51, which also brings a special meaning to these recordings. <br/> <br/>MIRROR BALL (ORS Disc 29), is a double-album originally released in 1995 and recorded with Pearl Jam. Considering the Seattle band was one of the prime movers of rock bands in the 1990s, it was an event immediately upon its release, and found a rabid, younger audience and inspired long-time fans alike with its inherent high energy. Songs like "I Am The Ocean," "Throw Your Hatred Down" helped impact so much of the second half of the 1990s. <br/> <br/>The OFFICIAL RELEASE SERIES VOLUME 6 - DISCS 26, 27, 28 & 29 (ORS Vol 6) captures a large visceral part of the era, when Young was continuing his exploration of music with an unrelenting edge, in ways that he hadn't really done before. These four releases took him towards a new century, and anticipated some of the musical places he would soon explore. The songs also capture some of the massive changes that the 2000s would bring, and ways that music would take on challenges that are still very much being met.

Warner Music are delighted to announce the release of a commemorative triple black vinyl album in honour of the 40th Anniversary of IRON MAIDEN's seminal third album, The Number Of The Beast, which was also the first to feature Bruce Dickinson on vocals and was to become the record which catapulted the band to international stardom. Included in the new vinyl package is Beast Over Hammersmith - available now officially for the very first time on vinyl - featuring the live concert from March 1982's now legendary Hammersmith Odeon London show from the Beast On The Road World Tour. Recorded only days before the release of The Number Of The Beast album, its remarkable to think these now classic songs at that time were still brand new, unfamiliar and being heard live by fans for the very first time. A real piece of history in the making.<br/><br/>The package features exclusive liner notes written by Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris as well as restored and expanded artwork taken from the CD format of Beast Over Hammersmith, previously only available in the Limited Edition Eddie's Archive boxset originally released in 2002. <br/><br/>Steve Harris comments, <br/>"On this vinyl release we get the chance to put Total Eclipse in its rightful spot on the album for the first time. The reason it didn't make it in the first place was that it was all a mad rush when we were finishing the record and we had to get the Run to the Hills single out before the tour and we basically had to pick a B-side and it was between Gangland and Total Eclipse and we just picked the wrong one, really! I think Total Eclipse is a stronger song and the album would have been stronger if it had been on there."
