In this season, George receives a telegram which summons him back to New York, Gladys (Taissa Farmiga)'s marriage to the Duke (Ben Lamb) remains unsure, and George reveals his railroad plans. Set in Middle-Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of Hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the Dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other Dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo has to make a difficult decision when Thorin puts his desire to find the royal jewel Arkenstone before his loyalty to his friends. Meanwhile, Gandalf discovers that the evil Sauron has returned, commanding a horde of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. The rest of the cast includes Luke Evans, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly and Christopher Lee.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

Following on from the earlier miniseries 'V' (1983) and 'V: The Final Battle' (1984), this series continues one year after the 'Resistance' defeated the alien 'Visitors'. With alien leader Diane (Jane Badler) under detention and facing trial for crimes against humanity, all seems well. However, when Diane manages to escape, joining up with a Visitor fleet waiting on the far side of the moon, she immediately sets about rejoining the alien fight, plotting to destroy Los Angeles with a space-based particle beam weapon. If that's not enough, the Visitors have also realised the importance of the newly born half-human, half-alien Starchild to their future survival prospects, and set a trap to catch her and use her DNA.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

In 'Deep Blue Sea' (1999), off the coast of Mexico, Dr Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows)'s team of scientists are working on a cure for Alzheimer's disease by injecting degenerate human brain cells into mako sharks. The three sharks selected grow to over 40 feet in length, and begin to demonstrate signs of intelligent behaviour. When pharmaceutical company executive Russell Franklin (Samuel L. Jackson) arrives with funding in mind, one of the sharks attacks scientist Jim Whitlock (Stellan Skarsgård), biting off his arm. However, the helicopter taking Whitlock to surgery crashes into the research centre and disables the protective security systems which keep the killer sharks at bay... In 'Deep Blue Sea 2' (2018) shark conservationist Dr Misty Calhoun (Danielle Savre) is invited to see the work of billionaire Carl Durant (Michael Beach) and is horrified to learn he has been genetically altering bull sharks to enhance their learning capabilities. It's not long before the sharks begin to fight back against their captors, causing havoc and flooding the research facility. Will anyone make it out alive? Finally, in 'Deep Blue Sea 3' (2020) marine biologist Dr Emma Collins (Tania Raymonde) and her team are spending the summer in the abandoned fishing village of Little Happy in the Mozambique Channel, studying the effects of climate change on the great white sharks which return every year to the island. Growing up, Clark (Cooper Timberline/Dylan Sprayberry) begins to discover the true potential of the superpowers he possesses but with this comes a sense of responsibility. In his 20s, while exploring the nature of his origins, Clark (Henry Cavill) meets and later becomes romantically involved with Lois Lane (Amy Adams), an inquisitive reporter from The Daily Planet newspaper. When an evil force threatens the Earth and its inhabitants, Clark resumes his true identity as a superhero and fights to save the planet. In 'Batman V Superman - Dawn of Justice' (2016), concerned that Superman (Cavill)'s powers may get out of hand if he isn't kept under control, vigilante Batman (Ben Affleck) leaves Gotham City for Metropolis where the two heroes find themselves in a head-to-head battle. Meanwhile, a terrifying evil threatens the safety of the human race. Will Batman and Superman be able to defeat their common enemy and save the day? Finally, in 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' (2021), following Superman's death, and with the world mourning his demise, Batman and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) unite to form a team of superheroes to protect Earth from the looming invasion of Steppenwolf (voice of Ciarán Hinds) and his army of Parademons. They recruit metahumans Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) to join them.
