In 'Shaun of the Dead' (2004), Shaun (Pegg) works in an electronics shop in London's Crouch End. He doesn't get much respect from his fellow staff, even though he's standing in as the temporary boss. Meanwhile, he doesn't get on with his stepdad Philip (Bill Nighy) and his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) has had enough of his lack of direction and penchant for downing pints in the local pub. Things only get worse with the advent of the zombie apocalypse but Shaun joins forces with his best friend Ed (Nick Frost) to fight back, determined to save Liz and his mother Barbara (Penelope Wilton) from a grisly fate. In 'Hot Fuzz' (2007), Sergeant Nicholas Angel (Pegg)'s arrest record puts the whole of the Metropolitan force to shame and so his superiors reassign him to rural Gloucestershire, hoping they have heard the last of him. However, the sleepy town he's posted to turns out to be a hotbed of grisly murder and vigilantism. Angel's diligence and character sits ill with the locals, except for police officer Danny Butterman (Frost), who's a huge fan of buddy cop movies. The pair bond and join forces to uncover the truth about who is responsible for the crimes. Finally, in 'The World's End' (2013), galvanised by Gary (Pegg), 40-somethings Oliver (Martin Freeman), Andy (Frost), Steven (Paddy Considine) and Peter (Eddie Marsan) return to their home town for one last attempt at completing the Golden Mile pub crawl and reaching the final pub, The World's End. However, after setting out on their quest, the friends' objective soon pales into insignificance when they realise that the fate of the entire human race may rest in their hands.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

With the challenges they face only increasing, the family must come together and embrace the changing times if they are to safeguard their future. Hoping to reconnect with his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) and their two children, he plans a holiday at a resort he enjoyed visiting as a boy. However, soon after their arrival he becomes embroiled in a fight with ruthless crime boss Lendina (Sharon Stone) and Abel (Colin Hanks), a corrupt sheriff in her employ, and he must fight to keep his family safe as the violence escalates. 'The Mummy' (1999) follows American explorer Rick O'Connell (Fraser) as he discovers Hamunaptra, the city of the dead, before being apprehended by angry locals and subsequently arrested. Three years later, Englishman Jonathan (John Hannah) discovers an ancient artefact which he gives to his sister Evie (Rachel Weisz). In turn, she trades the artefact for Rick's release from prison and the trio set off for Hamunaptra, hoping to arrive there before Beni (Kevin J. O'Connor), Rick's crooked former associate. However, Beni has already invoked a curse which frees Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), a supernaturally-gifted mummy aiming to sacrifice Evie in a bid to resurrect his former lover Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez). In 'The Mummy Returns' (2001) Rick and Evie have now settled down to married life in London with their eight-year-old son Alex (Freddie Boath). Meanwhile, the British museum is playing host to the corpse of Imhotep, the mummy which had previously given Rick and Evie such a hard time. When ancient magic brings Imhotep back to life, a chain of events is set in motion that will lead to the end of the world, thus forcing Rick and Evie to spring into action once again. Finally, in 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor' (2008) the action moves to China, where for 2,000 years, the ruthless Chinese Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) and his vast army of warriors have been frozen in time, cast in clay, waiting for their moment to rise again. When young archaeologist Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) is duped into bringing the ancient warlord back to life, he soon realises he has to call in the only people he knows with experience and knowledge of how to battle the undead - his parents Rick and Evie (Maria Bello). As the emperor attempts to reunite with his massed warriors and finally fulfil his dream of world domination, Alex and his family, along with mystical sorceress Zi Juan (Michelle Yeoh), have to pull out all the stops to keep the evil tyrant from achieving his ends.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

As William finds success in London, Agnes and the children remain in Stratford-upon-Avon but when the family suffers a devastating loss, William is compelled to write his greatest play yet.
