Tio år har passerat sedan maskinerna som styr framtiden skickade en Terminator till jorden - med uppdraget att mörda den ofödda John Connor. Uppdraget misslyckades och idag är John 10 år gammal. Finally, in 'Nope' (2022), after the residents of an isolated California town witness a strange and frightening event resulting in the death of one of their elders, siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood (Kaluuya and Keke Palmer) attempt to catch a repeat of the event on film.
