Bill och Ted är två coola snubbar, men för deras lärare är dom inte lika coola. De fantiserar om att starta ett band som skulle kallas "Wyld Stallyns" och att en dag kunna lära sig spela gitarr. Men nu är det så att om inte Ted klarar det omöjliga, som i detta fall är att klara en historieföreläsning, så skickas han till en militärskola och därmed är det slut på Bill och Teds vänskap och drömmar. En figur från framtiden visar sig i grevens tid och förser Bill och Ted med en tidsmaskin i form av en telefonkiosk. De båda hoppar in i den och kommer ut på olika ställen och samlar på sig historiska föremål. (Allt från Socrates till Billy "The Kid") och tar med sig dem till västkusten.

Accompanied by the Browns, Paddington meets the Reverend Mother (Olivia Colman) who heads up the retirement home and provides the family with a map of the jungle where they believe Aunt Lucy may have gone.
