Ronnie Wood anslöt till The Rolling Stones 1975 för 'Tour of the Americas' och blev officiell medlem 1976, då som avlönad musiker. Turnén gick genom USA och Kanada med höjdpunkter på Madison Square Garden och The Forum. 1976 följde Europaturnén efter släppet av Black and Blue, där över en miljon biljettförfrågningar kom till London's Earls Court.
