The infamous Umbrella Corporation has banned anyone from leaving in case of possible infection with the outside world. Aware that Umbrella hold the secret to her past, Alice sets out to explore the facility in search of the truth and those responsible for the initial virus outbreak. Along the way she teams up with other survivors of the disaster as the battle against Umbrella and the zombies rages on. Finally, in 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' (2016), humanity is on the brink of extinction as Alice returns to Raccoon City to try to stop Umbrella from launching one final attack on the remaining survivors. As commander of the ship, Captain Richard Phillips (Hanks) inevitably found himself at the centre of the action. Held hostage by pirates under the command of Muse (Barkhad Abdi), Phillips attempts to protect both his crew and ship to the best of his ability. However, as the drama plays out and Phillips spends more time in the company of his captors, he gradually comes to realise that they have a story too. Far from the greedy, heartless thugs of pirate lore, the Somalis may well represent the forces of globalisation as surely as the Maersk Alabama does.
