The film tells the stories of the various characters interned in the labour camp-cum-scrapyard, who have been deemed counter-revolutionary and 'bourgeois' by the Czech government and are now forced to spend their days sorting out piles of scrap metal for the purposes of 're-education'. As they toil, the workers - who include a literature professor, a public prosecutor, a dairyman, a saxophonist, a barber and a cook - philosophise and flirt amid the detritus of industrial society. Although shot in 1969, the film was banned by the Czech government until the fall of the Communist regime in 1990.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

In 'The Death of Mr Balthazar', directed by Jirí Menzel, a family are watching a motorcycle race when they witness one of the participants dying in a crash. 'The Imposters', directed by Jan Nemec, depicts a conversation between two men in hospital as they each tell each other falsehoods about themselves. In 'The House of Joy', directed by Evald Schorm, two life insurance agents visit a goat farmer and painter who has covered the inside of his farmhouse with his art. 'At the World Cafeteria', directed by Vera Chytilová, follows the rowdy guests at a wedding reception in a diner, who are oblivious to the misery surrounding them following the discovery of the body of a young woman. Finally 'Romance', directed by Jaromil Jires, follows the blossoming love affair between a working-class boy and a Roma girl.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored Special Edition</i>

Desperate to get in from the rain, the man takes refuge inside an old cinema that is showing martial arts film 'Dragon Inn' (1967). Although considered a classic, few people take notice of the film, attempting instead to find a suitable partner for the night.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

After she disturbs a thief stealing earrings belonging to her mother, everything changes in the teenager's life and she is forced to mature quickly.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Special Edition</i>

After a visit to a dinosaur exhibit at the New York City Museum of Natural History, four young boys decide to row out onto the lake in Central Park. There they discover a hidden cave which turns out to be the entrance into a prehistoric world filled with the dinosaurs from the exhibit.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>
