The Tales of Beatrix Potter är en brittisk balettfilm från 1971 i regi av Reginald Mills. Filmen handlar om de djurkaraktärer som skapades av Beatrix Potter. Dansare från Royal Ballet gestaltar djuren, vars koreografi skapades av Frederick Ashton. Beatrix Potter spelas av Erin Geraghty.<br/><br/>Filmen hade svensk premiär den 27 december 1974 som jullovsmatiné i TV2 och redan året därpå visades den på eftermiddagen dagen före julafton, något som senare blev något av en jultradition, även om filmen inledningsvis visades på olika datum under julen.

Though a pacifist at heart, Manouchian joins the underground resistance in desperation, along with a group of young hothead emigres from around the world. Initially the Germans rely on the French police to quell the insurgents, but after the murder of a high-ranking general they step up the pressure on Manouchian and his fellow partisans, who are portrayed in Nazi propaganda as 'the army of crime'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When a police car stops outside his small shop, Michel Descombes learns that his son has horrifically murdered a security guard and is now on the run. Stunned by the news, he cannot bring himself to belive it and tries to discover for himself the apparent motives for the gruesome crime. His passionate reactions in the defence of his fugitive son fascinate the investigating officer, Commissioner Guiboud. The two men form an odd trusting alliance until Michel realises that Guiboud is really acting to bring about his son's death as judicial revenge. Pinkie is known for his short fuse and brutality, so his murder of a rival, Fred (Alan Wheatley), is very much in character. Pinkie believes, nonetheless, that he has got away with the crime until the promptings of a suspicious local woman, Ida (Hermione Baddeley), threaten to have the case reopened. Since only one person can identify him as the murderer, the waitress, Rose Brown (Carol Marsh), Pinkie comes up with an ingenious solution - marry Rose to stop her testifying against him.
