During the Second World War, a platoon of German paratroopers plan to place a signalling device in an English village in preparation for an upcoming invasion. Disguised as British troops, all goes according to plan until vigilant local postmistress Mrs Collins (Muriel George) has her suspicions aroused by some clues left by the Germans. Unfortunately, respected villager Oliver Wilsford (Leslie Banks), the man who she informs of her suspicions, is actually a fifth columnist in league with the enemy. With the Germans now aware that the game is up, they quickly revert to their back-up plan and take the entire village hostage. As they try to maintain an appearance of normality in the village, the Germans soon find themselves beset by the heroic attempts of the villagers to raise the alarm to the outside world.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Restored</i>

After discovering that a number of the other passengers had reason to kill her, Poirot faces a race against time to solve the case before the ship reaches port. Adapted from a novel by Georges Bernanos, the film revolves around the priest of Ambicourt (Claude Laydu), an insular, but religious young man, whose lack of social skills causes his alienation within the villlage. His problems are compounded by stomach cancer, which further limits his involvement with his parishioners, leading him to ultimately question his faith and his reason for staying.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Exiled Armenian poet Missak Manouchian (Simon Abkarian) is living in occupied Paris with his wife Melinee (Virginie Ledoyen). Though a pacifist at heart, Manouchian joins the underground resistance in desperation, along with a group of young hothead emigres from around the world. Initially the Germans rely on the French police to quell the insurgents, but after the murder of a high-ranking general they step up the pressure on Manouchian and his fellow partisans, who are portrayed in Nazi propaganda as 'the army of crime'.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
