In the sequel, 'Joan of Arc' (2019), young Joan (Leplat Prudhomme) prepares to lead her soldiers into battle but is captured and denounced as a heretic.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Joy had everything that Helen longs for - a loving family, a boyfriend and a bright future - compared with Helen's own troubled and lonely past spent in care institutions. Over time, Helen begins to immerse herself in the role of Joy, ingratiating herself into the lost girl's family, wearing her clothes and even attempting to seduce her boyfriend.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In the Ottoman province of Hejaz, young Bedouin orphans Theeb (Jacir Eid Al-Hwietat) and his older brother Hussein (Hussein Salameh Al-Sweilhiyeen) embark on a perilous journey across the desert to take an English soldier and his Arabian guide to a well near an Ottoman train track. Although Hussein orders his younger brother to stay home, Theeb follows and is soon left to fend for himself when the rest of the group are ambushed and killed by Arab rebels. When an injured mercenary comes across the youngster the pair are forced to rely on each other to survive in the inhospitable desert amidst the surrounding violence. The film won the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut By a British Writer, Director or Producer.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Nuri Bilge Ceylan directs this Turkish drama following a group of men who set out to locate a dead body in the remote Anatolian steppes. The team comprises ten men, including Doctor Cemal (Muhammet Uzuner), Commissioner Naci (Yilmaz Erdogan), Prosecutor Nusret (Taner Birsel) and their entourage as well as the two men suspected of carrying out the murder. The men set out in the evening to search for the corpse's burial place but are unable to locate it. As they travel unsuccessfully from one location to another, and rest for the night at the home of a village elder, the various back-stories of their troubled lives are subtly revealed. The film won the the Grand Prix at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The film follows Sangok (Lee Hye-yeong), a once famous actress, as she returns to Seoul to visit her sister, Jeongok (Yunhee Cho). During her stay in the city, Sangok meets with celebrated director Jaewon (Hae-hyo Kwon) and ponders a return to acting.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

In 'Blockade' (2006), archive images of Hitler's siege of Leningrad show how the city became victim to a blockade which caused the deaths of as many as 800,000 innocent people due to starvation, disease and cold weather. In 'Landscape' (2003), Loznitsa records the inhabitants of the Russian village Okulovka while they wait at a bus stop in the middle of winter. In 'Revue' (2008), the director pieces together a collection of archive propaganda material produced in the Soviet Union during the 1950s and 60s. Giving an insight into the mindset of the people at the time, the film shows both sides of the communist ideology from grand images of the Socialist realism art form to the harsh realities of human suffering and poverty.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The film-maker again explores Chile's violent past but this time also examines the country's waterways and its 2,600 mile-long coastline. The film tells the story of the country's most ancient inhabitants, The Water People, and features interviews with their descendants who discuss the reasons behind their demise. Meanwhile, Guzmán narrates the tale of another native who was taken from his home in Tierra del Fuego to England in 1830 in order to be made civilised. He also later narrates the tale of the country's 'disappeared' who dared to oppose President Salvador Allende.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
