New Vienna är den fjärde konsertinspelningen som släpps från Keith Jarretts sista soloturné i Europa. Den följer efter Munich 2016, Budapest Concert och Bordeaux Concert. New Vienna släpps i samband med att Keith Jarrett fyller 80 år.<br/><br/>New Vienna is the fourth concert recording to be released from Keith Jarrett's final European solo tour. It follows Munich 2016, Budapest Concert and Bordeaux Concert. Why New Vienna? As Jarrett aficionados will know, his discography already includes a legendary Vienna Concert (recorded at the Vienna State Opera) whose music, he once claimed, spoke "the language of the flame itself", after long years of "courting the fire". Keith Jarrett's 2016 return to the Austrian capital brought the flames of inspiration to another historic location with lively acoustic properties, the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, where, at the start of the previous century, Schoenberg, Berg and Webern had premiered works that challenged and changed the course of modern music. New Vienna, shaping its new music in the moment, is near-encyclopedic in scope. The album is issued as Keith Jarrett turns 80.

Corpo writes a new chapter in their career by releasing a new album. Their musical genre is jazz and improvisation combined with what gives significance to the Nordic sound, and Swedish folklore its tonality, supported by grooves with African and Asian elements. All of their music is based on original compositions by Mikael Godée.<br/><br/>Corpo uses the musical compositions as a base, and creates their music intuitively, which distinguishes the arrangements, the dynamics and the improvisations from one performance to another. The group would have to release one album from every concert to be able to satisfy all of their listeners. That's why Corpo now chooses to release their sixth album,<br/>recorded "live in studio" (Lindgrensalen), Artisten, Gothenburg, Sweden, to capture the unique concert feeling and to let the listeners experience the fantastic ensemble playing by the musicians and sense their total presence.

Kritikerrosade danska sångerskan och låtskrivaren Mette Juul släpper sitt sjätte fullängdsalbum, hennes första på Prophone!
