'The Peach Orchard' follows the link between a doll festival and fruit trees which have the power to bring the dolls to life. In 'The Blizzard', a group of mountaineers struggle to walk on as the snow hampers their progress. 'The Tunnel' follows the journey of a discharged commander who is returning home from the Second World War. In 'Crows', Martin Scorsese stars as Vincent Van Gogh who is discovered when an art student travels through one of his paintings. 'Mount Fuji in Red' follows the chaos that ensues after six reactors at a nuclear plant near Mount Fuji explode, filling the skies with bright red fumes. In 'The Weeping Demon', a boy lost in the mountains comes across a horned man who explains that a holocaust has wiped out the human race. In eleventh century Japan, a noble family are rent asunder after the father, a local governor, attempts to treat peasants in a humane manner. The son Zushio (Hanayagi) and daughter Anju (Kagawa) are sold into slavery to evil bailiff Sansho (Shindo). Eventually, Zushio begins to adopt Sansho's barbaric ways, despite Anju's constant reminders of their exiled father's noble sacrifice.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Restored</i>

'A Confucian Confusion' (1994) follows a group of young friends, lovers, co-workers and acquaintances in Taipei over the course of three days. Molly (Shu-Chun Ni) manages an entertainment company but her friend and assistant Qiqi (Chen Shiang-chyi) is questioning both her job and her relationship with her fiancé Ming (Wang Wei-Ming). Meanwhile, Molly is engaged to Akeem (Bosen Wang) but his friend Larry (Danny Deng) is intent on pursuing her himself, despite the fact that he already has a wife and a mistress, the latter of whom works for Molly. As they reflect on the emptiness of their lives, they take steps to change their futures. In 'Mahjong' (1996) Red Fish (Tang Tsung Sheng) leads a group of young criminals running scams in Taipei.
