The film depicts the results of an idea by avant-garde director Stephen Dwoskin to bring together a group of strangers, who volunteered to participate, and film them over a period of five days encouraging them to explore and act out their fantasies. The outcome, which was edited from 15 hours of footage filmed by Dwoskin, shows the formation of intense encounters and relationships. The use of ceremonial gowns and elaborate make up further add to the atmosphere of this provocative and experimental film.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

During the Battle of Coronel in November 1914, gunfire between the two nations resulted in the Germans sinking two British ships, HMS Monmouth and HMS Good Hope, causing the fatalities of 1600 sailors. To enact their revenge, a month later Britain sent two battle cruisers, Inflexible and Invincible, to engage the Geman fleet in the Battle of the Falkland Islands. Led by Vice Admiral Sturdee (Craighall Sherry), this time they were victorious and sank the German cruisers SMS Scharnhorst and SMS Gneisenau. The feature also includes an original score composed by Simon Dobson and performed by 24 members of the Royal Marines Band Service.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Historian Dan Cruickshank presents this exploration of documentary filmmaker Claude Friese-Greene, who recorded a picture of Britain from John O'Groats to Land's End using a pioneering colour film stock in 1924. Cruickshank recreates the trip, and comments on Friese-Greene's rare archive footage, examining the patterns of everyday life in 1920s Britain and interviewing peope who appeared in the film as children.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

The film examines Hall's life and his journey from student to prominent theorist. He determined that one's position in society is dependent upon a variety of factors which are constantly changing. As the documentary explores these factors it looks back through the decades from the 1950s to the present day, covering significant events that have had an impact on culture and society such as the Cold War and Margaret Thatcher's rule as Prime Minister.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Lauded 1936 documentary, showing the various stages and procedures of the operation of the Royal Mail train delivery service, that remains one of the most instantly recognised films in British film history. It begins with a voiceover commentary describing how the mail is collected for transit. Then, as the train proceeds along the course of its journey, we are shown the various regional railway stations at which it collects and deposits its cargo. Inside the train the process of sorting takes place. As it nears its destination there is a sequence - the best known in the film - in which WH Auden's spoken verse and Benjamin Britten's music are combined over montage images of racing train wheels.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Collector's Edition</i>
