On hearing of his brother's death, Carter returns to Newcastle for his funeral and to investigate his suspicion that his sibling may have been murdered. After visiting local gangster Cyril Kinnear (John Osborne), Carter is threatened and advised to head back to London. Jack refuses and descends further and further into the city's underworld as his investigations begin to pay off. With the involvement of charismatic exorcist Father Barre (Michael Gothard), the affair turns into a sordid mass exorcism of the tainted convent. With much controversy surrounding its subject matter of religion combined with violence and sex, many cuts were made to the film in order for it to attain certification.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Estate agent Jonathan Harker (Bruno Ganz) arrives at Count Dracula (Klaus Kinski)'s castle in Transylvania to complete the sale of a property in Wismar. Despite having been warned that the Count is a vampire, Jonathan remains skeptical. His haunting stay at the castle rids him of any doubt, however, and in an attempt to escape he injures himself and ends up in hospital.
