In 'Bait' (2019), despite having sold his parents' cottage to a wealthy couple from London, Cornish fisherman Martin (Edward Rowe) is still struggling to save enough money to buy himself a boat. As the tourist season begins and visitors start flocking to the coast, Martin can't hide his anger and growing resentment at the changes being made in the name of tourism. 'Enys Men' (2023) is a folk horror set in 1973 on an uninhabited island off the Cornish coast. Every day, a woman (Mary Woodvine) inspects the wildflowers on the cliff and records her findings. As time passes and she endures her isolated existence, her memories jumble and she begins to hallucinate, losing herself to something like madness. Finally, in 'Rose of Nevada' (2025), after a fishing vessel and its crew disappeared from a small Cornish village 30 years ago, the community never recovered from the loss. When the boat mysteriously reappears in the harbour, Nick and Liam (George MacKay and Callum Turner) set out in it in search of fish but when they return to shore, they are shocked to discover they have travelled 30 years into the past.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set (Limited Edition)</i>

After the death of her husband, Rosario (Katina Paxinou) and her five sons move from the poor rural south of Italy to the prosperous northern city of Milan in an effort to improve their lives. The film begins in Belgrade in 1944 and follows two likeable crooks, manipulative Marko (Miki Manojlovic) and loveable Blacky (Lazar Ristovski), as they are forced to take shelter when the Nazi's bombs begin to fall on their city. After the Germans move in to occupy Yugoslavia, Marko and Blacky begin supporting Partisan fighters by smuggling them weapons. Years later, when the war finally ends, Marko, who has now risen up the ranks of the country's communist country, manages to trick the sheltering townsfolk into believing that the fighting above them is still going on while they make more weapons for him to sell.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / with DVD (Limited Edition)</i>

In 'The Treasure of Abbot Thomas' (1974) cynical Reverend Somerton (Michael Bryant) is completely close-minded when it comes to paranormal activity. However, his steadfast beliefs are tested when his search for the treasure of alchemist Abbot Thomas (John Herrington) unleashes a terrifying spectre. 'The Ash Tree' (1975) sees Sir Richard Fell (Edward Petherbridge) inherit his uncle's manor and grounds. He moves in and is immediately disturbed by the strange noises coming from an ash tree on the property and the visions he begins to experience. In 'The Signalman' (1976), based on the story by Charles Dickens, Denholm Elliott stars as a troubled railway signalman who bears witness to some unsettling sights and sounds along his stretch of track. 'Stigma' (1977) sees Katherine Delgado (Kate Binchy) and her family move into a new home but they have difficulty removing a menhir from their garden. Finally, in 'The Ice House' (1978), Paul (John Stride) goes to stay at a spa resort to help him get over the breakdown of his marriage but is unnerved by the strange behaviour of the brother and sister who run it.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set</i>

In 'Yojimbo' (1961) wandering samurai Sanjuro Kuwabatake (Mifune) arrives in a rural town in 19th century Japan which is overrun with criminals and is being fought over by two rival gangs. Determined to free the townsfolk from the oppressive grip of the gangsters, Sanjuro sparks open war between the two sides in the hope that they will destroy each other. However, his plans are complicated by the arrival of Unosuke (Tatsuya Nakadai), the younger brother of one of the gang leaders who prefers guns to swords and upsets the balance of power in the town. In the sequel 'Sanjuro' (1962) Sanjuro Tsubaki encounters a clan of samurai who have been betrayed by the local superintendent. They had intended to present a formal accusation of corruption within their clan but would have been crushed by the superintendent's men had Sanjuro not defended them. Sanjuro soon finds himself embroiled in a plot to kidnap the local chamberlain and facilitate a power grab by the superintendent, but jaded as he is, Sanjuro feels he must also object to the behaviour of his fellow samurai.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / 4K Ultra HD (Restored)</i>

'Rome, Open City' (1945) takes place during the last days of the Nazi occupation of Italy during World War II. Resistance leader Giorgio Manfredi (Marcello Pagliero) flees the Gestapo and seeks a place to hide with the help of his friend Francesco (Francesco Grandjacquet), his pregnant fiancée Pina (Anna Magnani) and the priest who is due to marry them, Don Pietro Pellegrini (Aldo Fabrizi). Giorgio's ex-girlfriend Marina (Maria Michi) betrays him and his fellow fighters to the Gestapo in order to get her hands on some luxury items and it's not long before the Nazis and the local police find him and Don Pietro. They are captured and tortured but will they crack under the pain or be executed for their silence? 'Paisà' (1946) is Rossellini's account of the liberation of Italy during World War II, told in six chapters. In each chapter a different view of the liberation is given as it spreads across the country. Different characters are also followed in each segment including American chaplains, soldiers, monks and prostitutes. Finally, 'Germany Year Zero' (1948) is Roberto Rossellini's moving account of life in post-war Germany telling the story of a 13-year old black marketeer who poisons his ailing father out of pity and necessity.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray / Box Set</i>
