Count Orlok (Schreck) wishes to move from his castle in the Carpathian Mountains to the town of Wisburg in Germany and estate agent Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) is sent to make the necessary arrangements. The locals fear Orlok and believe that he is a vampire and though Hutter is initially unconvinced, he soon learns the truth. When Larkin is kidnapped before he can be extradited, Brannigan charges through the city as he attempts to locate the gangster and finds himself at odds with Scotland Yard's Commander Charles Swann (Richard Attenborough). However, as the governments of the world begin gearing up for yet another all-consuming conflict, Diaz's device is used as just another weapon of war.
