In 'A Grand Day Out' (1989) Wallace runs out of his favourite Wensleydale cheese on Boxing Day and cannot find a shop open to replenish his stock. The only solution he can think of is to fly his homemade rocket to the biggest block of cheese in the universe: the moon. In 'The Wrong Trousers' (1993) Wallace and Gromit cross paths with ruthless criminal Feathers McGraw, a penguin who disguises himself as a chicken and has a plan to use Wallace's Techno Trousers to commit robbery. In 'A Close Shave' (1995) Wallace becomes infatuated with Wendolene (Anne Reid) who owns a wool shop. Meanwhile, Gromit becomes interested in the case of some disappearing sheep and identifies Wendolene's dog Preston as the culprit. However, when the devious dog frames Gromit for the crime and he is imprisoned, he needs Wallace and the sheep, led by Shaun, to break him out. Finally, in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' (2008), the pair have converted their home into the 'Top Bun' bakery - complete with a rooftop windmill - but with 12 local bakers having gone mysteriously missing, Gromit worries that they will soon complete the baker's dozen. Wallace, meanwhile, is oblivious to the danger, and with his master otherwise engaged, it's up to Gromit to solve the mystery before Wallace becomes the next victim.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Adapted by Andrew Davies after his success with his work on George Elliot's 'Middlemarch' for television, 'Pride and Prejudice' was the BBC's flagship drama in the schedule for autumn 1995. The story revolves around the arrival of the wealthy Mr Darcy (Colin Firth) and party and the excitement he causes amongst the five daughters of the Bennett family. In 'Persuasion' (1995), Anne Elliott (Amanda Root) has spent years regretting her rejection of Captain Wentworth's (Ciaran Hinds) proposal of marriage. When he returns from sea they meet, but instead of finding romance are kept apart through a series of misunderstandings. Anne is being pursued by her cousin, Mr Elliott (Samuel West), while Captain Wentworth is now regarded as a very eligible bachelor. 'Northanger Abbey' (1986) stars Peter Firth and Robert Hardy. The story follows the adventures of Catherine Moorland (Katharine Schlesinger), who is invited by the romantic Henry Tilney to stay at the Abbey - and finds it to be shrouded in mystery and intrigue. In 'Sense and Sensibility' (1980), sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood (Irene Richard and Tracey Childs) lose their family fortune to spiteful relatives, and are forced to seek out suitable husbands in order to survive. While Marianne falls for the heartless John Willoughby (Peter Woodward), Elinor finds herself attracted to Edward Ferrars (Bosco Hogan) - who is himself betrothed to Lucy Steele (Julia Chambers). In 'Mansfield Park' (1983), Fanny Price (Sylvestra Le Touzel) struggles to adjust to her new aristrocratic lifestyle when she is sent by her debt-ridden mother to live with her rich aunt and cousins. Her 'superior' relatives constantly ignore her, and only her cousin Edmund (Nicholas Farrell) shows Fanny any interest. However, Fanny's charm and wit eventually win her many potential suitors, and before long she has to decide whether she wishes to wed for love or for status. Doran Godwin stars in 'Emma' (1972), which tells the stroy of the eponymous heroine whose chief joy in life is organising the lives of the friends with whom she surrounds herself. 'Cranford' (2007) tells the story of the small absurdities and major tragedies in the lives of the people of Cranford, as they are besieged by forces that they can't withstand. Cranford in the 1840s is a small northern English town on the cusp of change. Things are on the move. The railway is pushing its way relentlessly towards the town from Manchester, bringing fears of migrant workers and the breakdown of law and order, and the arrival of handsome new doctor, Frank Harrison (Simon Woods), from London causes a stir; not only because of his revolutionary medical methods, but also because of the effect he has on many of the ladies' hearts in the town. Judi Dench plays Miss Matty Jenkyns, whose hopes and rebellious spirit were crushed when, as a young woman, she was forced to give up Mr Holbrook (Michael Gambon), the man she loved. 'North and South' (2004) is a passionate love story, set across the social divides in the changing world of Victorian industrial society. Margaret Hale (Daniella Denby-Ashe) is a southerner from a country vicarage newly settled in the industrial northern town of Milton. In the shock of her move, she misjudges charismatic cotton mill-owner John Thornton (Richard Armitage) , whose strength of purpose and passion are a match for her own pride and wilfulness. When the workers of Milton call a strike, Margaret takes their side, and the two are brought into deeper conflict. As events spiral out of control, Margaret - to her surprise - finds herself falling in love with Thornton. 'Wives and Daughters' (1999) is based on Gaskell's unfinished novel. The decision of long-time widower Mr Gibson (Bill Paterson) to remarry has several repercussions for his daughter, Molly (Justine Waddell), who resents the arrival of her stepmother Hyacinth (Francesca Annis). However, Molly also acquires a stepsister, Cynthia (Keeley Hawes), with whom she soon forms a close bond; a bond which is later put to the test when they both set their caps at the same man, Roger Hamley (Anthony Howell).<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

In 'Wild Blue Yonder', Donna and the Doctor are thrust through time and space by the malfunctioning TARDIS and end up stranded at the edge of the universe where they are tormented by an unknown foe. Finally, in 'The Giggle', the Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris) returns to cause havoc across the world.
