In 'A Close Shave' (1995) Wallace becomes infatuated with Wendolene (Anne Reid) who owns a wool shop. Meanwhile, Gromit becomes interested in the case of some disappearing sheep and identifies Wendolene's dog Preston as the culprit. However, when the devious dog frames Gromit for the crime and he is imprisoned, he needs Wallace and the sheep, led by Shaun, to break him out. Finally, in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' (2008), the pair have converted their home into the 'Top Bun' bakery - complete with a rooftop windmill - but with 12 local bakers having gone mysteriously missing, Gromit worries that they will soon complete the baker's dozen.
