When Kostas returns, Eleni and Hristos decide to murder him, but will they manage to keep the crime secret? In 'Days of '36' (1972) Sofianos (Kostas Pavlou) is in prison accused of murdering a trade unionist. Determined to escape, Sofianos takes hostage a politician who visits the jail. The fallout from the incident threatens to tip an unstable country over the edge. 'The Travelling Players' (1975) follows a group of actors who journey through Greece attempting to perform a play against the backdrop of the tumultuous political events between 1939 and 1952. Orestes (Petros Zarkadis) ends up fighting for the Greek guerillas and is executed. His sister, Elektra (Eva Kotamanidou), however, remains determined to resist foreign intervention in Greece and continues to support those who fight against it. 'The Hunters' (1977) is an allegorical tale in which a group of hunters stumble upon the corpse of a man who appears to have been killed during the civil war. The group, which includes an industrialist (Giorgos Danis), a militarist (Nikos Kouros) and a politician (Christoforos Nezer), must decide what to do with the body as fresh blood begins emerging from its wounds, apparently symbolising their guilt over the war.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

'A Tale of Springtime' (1989) is the story of a friendship between a high school philosophy teacher and a music student. Caught between apartments, philosophy teacher Jeanne (Anne Teyssedre) attends a party, where a young girl, Natasha (Florence Darel), invites her to stay at the flat she shares with her father, Igor (Hugues Quester). Presently Jeanne finds herself witness to, then participating in, recriminatory scenes between daughter, father and his youthful lover, Eve (Eloise Bennett): jealous Natasha detests Eve, accusing her of theft, while Igor seems more than willing to be left with Jeanne. Rohmer examines the hidden motives and analyses the consequences of their actions, finding nobody wholly innocent. In 'A Winter's Tale' (1992), Parisian hairdresser Felicie (Charlotte Very) has a wonderful holiday romance with a man called Charles (Frédéric Van Den Driessche) in Brittany. She discovers she is pregnant but, through a mix-up over addresses, she loses contact with her lover. As her daughter grows up she finds it impossible to settle with another man, although she wavers between two suitors, and daydreams of Charles finding them again. In 'A Summer's Tale' (1996), Gaspard (Melvil Poupard), a bored young man on holiday in Brittany, is invited to a party by Margot (Amanda Langlet) while he is waiting for his classmate Lena (Aurelia Nolin), with whom he believes he is in love. At Margot's party Gaspard meets another girl, Solène (Gwenaelle Simon), who is also attracted to him. When Lena arrives too, Gaspard is forced to choose between the three girls. In the fourth and final instalment, 'An Autumn Tale' (1998), happily-married Rhone Valley wine-grower Isabelle (Marie Rivière) wants to see her widowed friend Magali (Béatrice Romand) matched up. To this end, she secretly places a lonely hearts ad in a paper on Magali's behalf and chooses a man for her. Misunderstandings ensue, however, when Magali sees Isabelle acting suspiciously with a mystery guest at her daughter's wedding. Played out in two acts, the film opens with the wedding of Justine (Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgård): a sumptuous affair paid for by Justine's Claire (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and her husband John (Kiefer Sutherland). However, when Justine notices a strange star in the sky, she starts behaving oddly and the wedding is ruined. The film's second act follows Justine, now extremely weak and ill, after she goes to live with her sister. As Claire and John struggle to deal with Justine's condition, astronomy buff Claire becomes increasingly concerned about a large blue planet that is threatening to collide with the earth. When the well-read and knowledgeable bachelor Seligman (Skarsgård) finds a beaten and bruised young woman in an alleyway, he takes her home to his flat to tend to her injuries. The woman introduces herself as Joe (Gainsbourg), a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, whose carefree and hedonistic lifestyle has led to her situation. Seligman presses Joe to tell her story and she proceeds to recount her experiences, from her childhood up to the present, where sex has been the most important thing in her life. The supporting cast includes Shia La Beouf, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman and Willem Dafoe.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Marcel Marx (André Wilms) is an ageing shoe shiner living in the French port city of Le Havre with his beloved wife Arletty (Kati Outinen). When Arletty becomes ill and is taken into hospital, Marcel takes in eight-year-old Idrissa (Blondin Miguel), an illegal immigrant boy from Africa who is trying to get to his mother in London. Marcel comes under the scrutiny of local police inspector Monet (Jean-Pierre Darroussin), but remains determined to help reunite Idrissa with his family.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Set in an unnamed location and time, the story follows Alex (Konstantin Lavronenko), Vera (Maria Bonnevie), their young son and daughter, and Alex's brother Mark (Aleksandr Baluev), as they relocate from the city to Alex and Mark's father's old house in the country. Once there, Vera tells Alex that she is pregnant, and he believes the baby cannot be his, causing Alex to face huge personal dilemmas, wondering whether to forgive her or exact revenge. Acting on advice from his malevolent brother, Alex demands that Vera terminate the pregnancy. But when complications suddenly arise, Alex's weakening grasp on reality threatens to place events beyond his control.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Georges (Daniel Auteuil) is a successful TV presenter, happily married to Anne (Juliette Binoche). Their idyllic middle-class life is suddenly derailed when Georges starts receiving tapes through the post from someone who has been secretly filming him and his family as they go about their daily lives. Gradually the tapes become more intimate and personal, suggesting that the perpetrator is someone who knows Georges well. With the police unable to help, Georges and Anne find their comfortable existence unravelling as paranoia and mistrust overtake them.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
