'A Tale of Springtime' (1989) is the story of a friendship between a high school philosophy teacher and a music student. Caught between apartments, philosophy teacher Jeanne (Anne Teyssedre) attends a party, where a young girl, Natasha (Florence Darel), invites her to stay at the flat she shares with her father, Igor (Hugues Quester). Presently Jeanne finds herself witness to, then participating in, recriminatory scenes between daughter, father and his youthful lover, Eve (Eloise Bennett): jealous Natasha detests Eve, accusing her of theft, while Igor seems more than willing to be left with Jeanne. Rohmer examines the hidden motives and analyses the consequences of their actions, finding nobody wholly innocent. In 'A Winter's Tale' (1992), Parisian hairdresser Felicie (Charlotte Very) has a wonderful holiday romance with a man called Charles (Frédéric Van Den Driessche) in Brittany. She discovers she is pregnant but, through a mix-up over addresses, she loses contact with her lover. As her daughter grows up she finds it impossible to settle with another man, although she wavers between two suitors, and daydreams of Charles finding them again. In 'A Summer's Tale' (1996), Gaspard (Melvil Poupard), a bored young man on holiday in Brittany, is invited to a party by Margot (Amanda Langlet) while he is waiting for his classmate Lena (Aurelia Nolin), with whom he believes he is in love. At Margot's party Gaspard meets another girl, Solène (Gwenaelle Simon), who is also attracted to him. When Lena arrives too, Gaspard is forced to choose between the three girls. In the fourth and final instalment, 'An Autumn Tale' (1998), happily-married Rhone Valley wine-grower Isabelle (Marie Rivière) wants to see her widowed friend Magali (Béatrice Romand) matched up. To this end, she secretly places a lonely hearts ad in a paper on Magali's behalf and chooses a man for her. Misunderstandings ensue, however, when Magali sees Isabelle acting suspiciously with a mystery guest at her daughter's wedding. Babette (Stéphane Audran), a chef and refugee from France's civil war, finds herself in a remote Danish hamlet working for two sisters who preside over its inhabitants. The sisters were brought up under the strict regime of their devout father who preached salvation through self-denial and have kept his teachings going even after his death. But Babette's arrival is set to change the status quo when she cooks a sumptuous meal for the sisters and their friends.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Dadan will agree to cancel the debt if Matko arranges for his son, Zare (Florijan Ajdini) to marry Dadan's daughter, who is so tiny that she has been nicknamed 'Ladybird'. However, Zare is in love with local waitress Ida (Branka Katic), and romantic complications soon ensue.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Hungarian maestro Bela Tarr directs this black and white drama set in the early 19th century and inspired by a story about the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. According to the tale, Nietzsche rushed to save a horse from being flogged in the street, before collapsing into the debilitating mental illness that remained with him for the rest of his life. The film imagines the days leading up to the incident, following the poverty-stricken horseman (János Derzsi) and his grown-up daughter (Erika Bók) as they go about their bleak daily existence in the biting winter winds, subsisting entirely on boiled potatoes and watching helplessly as their ailing horse gradually loses its battle to stay alive.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Through their neighbour, Fred, they meet Paul (Arno Frisch) and his friend Peter (Frank Giering). However, once inside Anna and Georg's house, Peter and Paul begin to torture them, betting that in twenty-four hours they and Georgie will be dead. When Georgie manages to escape to Fred's house, he discovers that the neighbour and his wife have already been murdered: it seems that Paul and Peter are serious about continuing their 'game' to the finish.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

When the well-read and knowledgeable bachelor Seligman (Skarsgård) finds a beaten and bruised young woman in an alleyway, he takes her home to his flat to tend to her injuries. The woman introduces herself as Joe (Gainsbourg), a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, whose carefree and hedonistic lifestyle has led to her situation. Seligman presses Joe to tell her story and she proceeds to recount her experiences, from her childhood up to the present, where sex has been the most important thing in her life. The supporting cast includes Shia La Beouf, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman and Willem Dafoe.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Koji Yakusho stars as respected samurai warrior Shinzaemon Shimada, who gathers together 13 skilled assassins to bring down the evil Lord Naritsugu (Goro Inagaki), a merciless killer who gets his kicks from brutally murdering women and children. The film ends with a 45-minute battle sequence in which the 13 assassins take on an army of 200 men, dispensing with them in a profusion of inventive and surprising ways.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>
