'A Tale of Springtime' (1989) is the story of a friendship between a high school philosophy teacher and a music student. Caught between apartments, philosophy teacher Jeanne (Anne Teyssedre) attends a party, where a young girl, Natasha (Florence Darel), invites her to stay at the flat she shares with her father, Igor (Hugues Quester). Presently Jeanne finds herself witness to, then participating in, recriminatory scenes between daughter, father and his youthful lover, Eve (Eloise Bennett): jealous Natasha detests Eve, accusing her of theft, while Igor seems more than willing to be left with Jeanne. Rohmer examines the hidden motives and analyses the consequences of their actions, finding nobody wholly innocent. In 'A Winter's Tale' (1992), Parisian hairdresser Felicie (Charlotte Very) has a wonderful holiday romance with a man called Charles (Frédéric Van Den Driessche) in Brittany. She discovers she is pregnant but, through a mix-up over addresses, she loses contact with her lover. As her daughter grows up she finds it impossible to settle with another man, although she wavers between two suitors, and daydreams of Charles finding them again. In 'A Summer's Tale' (1996), Gaspard (Melvil Poupard), a bored young man on holiday in Brittany, is invited to a party by Margot (Amanda Langlet) while he is waiting for his classmate Lena (Aurelia Nolin), with whom he believes he is in love. At Margot's party Gaspard meets another girl, Solène (Gwenaelle Simon), who is also attracted to him. When Lena arrives too, Gaspard is forced to choose between the three girls. In the fourth and final instalment, 'An Autumn Tale' (1998), happily-married Rhone Valley wine-grower Isabelle (Marie Rivière) wants to see her widowed friend Magali (Béatrice Romand) matched up. To this end, she secretly places a lonely hearts ad in a paper on Magali's behalf and chooses a man for her. Misunderstandings ensue, however, when Magali sees Isabelle acting suspiciously with a mystery guest at her daughter's wedding. In 'The Kid With a Bike' (2011), an eleven-year-old boy is in search of a family. In an attempt to escape the state-run care home he has ended up in, rebellious pre-teen Cyril Catoul (Thomas Doret) tries without success to track down his deadbeat father; and in the process, he meets small-town hairdresser Samantha (Cécile De France). In 'The Silence of Lorna' (2008), Arta Dobroshi stars as Lorna, a young Albanian woman stuck in a marriage of convenience with junkie Belgian Claudy (Jérémie Renier). It turns out that this is a strategic marriage set up by a Russian gangster, and that the eventual plan is for Claudy to be murdered and Lorna to then re-marry the gangster. In 'The Child' (2005), Bruno (Renier) is a young petty thief who has fathered a baby by his 18-year-old girlfriend, Sonia (Déborah Francois). Needing money, Bruno commits a shocking atrocity and its repercussions force him into a desperate search for atonement. In 'The Son' (2002), a middle-aged carpenter (Olivier Gourmet) takes on a young apprentice, Francis (Morgan Marinne), knowing that he is the murderer of his son. In 'Rosetta' (1999), the teenage titular character (Emilie Dequenne) struggles to look after herself and her alcoholic mother on a caravan site in present-day Belgium. When she is made redundant, Rosetta befriends waffle salesman Riquet (Fabrizio Rongione) and manages to find another job, but this does not last long, and she eventually finds herself considering suicide as a means of escape. Finally, in 'La Promesse' (1996) 15-year-old Igor (Renier) helps his father, Roger (Gourmet), employ illegal immigrants to work on building sites. When one of the workers is seriously injured after a fall from some scaffolding, Igor promises to look after the man's wife (Assita Ouedraogo) and child; an encounter which gradually shows him the gulf between his own values and those of the workers.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Import.</b> Kontrollera att språk och textning passar dig.<br/><br/>Collection of feature dramas from acclaimed Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos 'Reconstruction' (1970) follows Eleni (Toula Stathopoulou), a poor country woman who takes on a lover, gamekeeper Hristos (Yannis Totsikas), to keep her company during the long absence of her husband, Kostas (Mihalis Fotopoulos). When Kostas returns, Eleni and Hristos decide to murder him, but will they manage to keep the crime secret? In 'Days of '36' (1972) Sofianos (Kostas Pavlou) is in prison accused of murdering a trade unionist. Determined to escape, Sofianos takes hostage a politician who visits the jail. The fallout from the incident threatens to tip an unstable country over the edge. 'The Travelling Players' (1975) follows a group of actors who journey through Greece attempting to perform a play against the backdrop of the tumultuous political events between 1939 and 1952. Orestes (Petros Zarkadis) ends up fighting for the Greek guerillas and is executed. His sister, Elektra (Eva Kotamanidou), however, remains determined to resist foreign intervention in Greece and continues to support those who fight against it. 'The Hunters' (1977) is an allegorical tale in which a group of hunters stumble upon the corpse of a man who appears to have been killed during the civil war. The group, which includes an industrialist (Giorgos Danis), a militarist (Nikos Kouros) and a politician (Christoforos Nezer), must decide what to do with the body as fresh blood begins emerging from its wounds, apparently symbolising their guilt over the war.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD / Box Set</i>

A long-running political heavyweight in Italian politics with close ties to the Vatican, the last Christian Democratic prime minister of Italy's legacy was eventually tarnished by his being arrested on charges of colluding with the Mafia earlier in his career. The film covers the period from the seventh election of Andreotti as Italian PM in 1992, up until his trial.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>

Babette (Stéphane Audran), a chef and refugee from France's civil war, finds herself in a remote Danish hamlet working for two sisters who preside over its inhabitants. The sisters were brought up under the strict regime of their devout father who preached salvation through self-denial and have kept his teachings going even after his death. But Babette's arrival is set to change the status quo when she cooks a sumptuous meal for the sisters and their friends.<br/><br/><i>Typ: Blu-ray</i>

Played out in two acts, the film opens with the wedding of Justine (Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgård): a sumptuous affair paid for by Justine's Claire (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and her husband John (Kiefer Sutherland). However, when Justine notices a strange star in the sky, she starts behaving oddly and the wedding is ruined. The film's second act follows Justine, now extremely weak and ill, after she goes to live with her sister. As Claire and John struggle to deal with Justine's condition, astronomy buff Claire becomes increasingly concerned about a large blue planet that is threatening to collide with the earth. Marcel Marx (André Wilms) is an ageing shoe shiner living in the French port city of Le Havre with his beloved wife Arletty (Kati Outinen). When Arletty becomes ill and is taken into hospital, Marcel takes in eight-year-old Idrissa (Blondin Miguel), an illegal immigrant boy from Africa who is trying to get to his mother in London. Marcel comes under the scrutiny of local police inspector Monet (Jean-Pierre Darroussin), but remains determined to help reunite Idrissa with his family.<br/><br/><i>Typ: DVD</i>
